the ending of a legacy

there has been talk of resident evil 5 being the final installment of the current stars and wesker story .

so if this is true we will need to see and or read files ..

contain information that will draw a close on all unanswered questions

e.g sherry , steve , where s barry , leon , claire and many others

what questions would you like to see answered ?

i highly doubt this will be the last installment of anything .. in-fact i even doubt that capcom would kill off certain bad guys in this game at all..

Especially one that is such a fan favorite. And they wouldn't stop with just one major game on the next gen (current gen I guess) systems.

Sherry is obviously the big one that has yet to be answered. I suppose in theory she may be in 5 but the chances aren't great.

Barry and Rebecca could also do with some details, however, and it would be nice if even little things like is Nicholai alive or dead. I very much doubt those will be answered, though, because I suspect Capcom doesn't have a clue either.

Secondly, you certainly fight a naughty, naughty man. I must admit I dunno if you'll see the end of him though. It would be good, I think, because it allows the series to move on. But even if he does get snuffed I half expect to find it's just a clone, or he's not really dead, or some other crap.

Its not the final installment though, Albert Wesker wont die and i think Sherry was just a side character. But if its the end of the old umbrella story ark then thats ok with me.

According to a moderator of the Capcom-Unity forums, Resident Evil 5 is supposedly the first-half of an ending chapter concerning relations/connections to Umbrella and the storylines of previous main characters.
It's still up in speculation though. But the set-up of the viral videos, post-kijuju, may be pointing their way to a future plot, aside from their promotional purpose.

Takeuchi had stated way back, that there were other various character stories, the developing team would have liked to cover, but it simply wasn't going to happen just with RE5. In a video interview(I believe from TGS), he also did not neglect to mention the possibility of RE6. The ending of RE5 is also said to leave us in yet further speculation.

I doubt the series is going to cease anytime soon with the release of 5. Not when there is still much to be done...

I want to know where Barry is and maybe Nicholai. Some of the other characters I don't really care about. I think they could use Sherry but maybe they are waiting for a game with Claire in it. I really want to know about who Ada is working for.
