Okay, seriously...HOW can Chris defeat Wesker?

So Jill dying to save Chris would be cliche? Please.

I hate to say it...but if Wesker does mutate, the final fight will probably end with him getting blown up via rocket launcher or a facility self destruct.

If Wesker doesn't mutate (which is what I pray), it will be a very brutal battle for Chris...even with Sheva and possibly an augmented Jill, they would still have their hands full. If he does die that is...since we don't know if Wesker will live or not. His voice actor did say he would love to repraise his role as Wesker in the future...so we'll just have to wait until the game comes out.

Could be like I said this could all be just hype.

technically he didn't. Ada took him out ultimately. And if Assignment Ada is not cannon, then Leon killed Krauser with the knife on top of the tower as the bomb counts down. You don't see it, you just hear the BOOM.

It was a rhetorical question. What I meant was: Chris might as well kill Wesker with a mere knife, anything's possible.

Actually, not that many.

Tyrant, Birkin (depending on which scenario, though I think it's canon that he gets RL'd), Nemesis actually didn't , Saddler, Morpheus didn't... Haven't played Survivor, the Tyrant from Outbreak didn't, and I haven't played File #2. And if the Linear Launcher counts, then Alexia. So I know of only four.

I haven't really looked at what guns are available in resident evil 5, any idea if there is a magnum in that selection? I'd assume there is but haven't checked.

Not in the demo, but I've no doubt there'll be a magnum or two in the mix. Capcom'd be nuts if they didn't add magnums.

Well being as its Resident Evil and characters "die" all the time. Hmmm even if Wesker dies in this game, Capcom more or less will bring him back in some way.

Even if Wesker dies and stays dead as long as its EPIC it doesn't really matter.

They can always have him in flashback games.

I thought of more good ways for Chris to defeat Wesker.

1. Sheva/Jill get down on all fours behind Wesker, giggling all the way. Chris will then say something like "Wesker, you look tired. Why don't you go take a NAP with the ULTIMATE FAILURE?!?!" and SHOVE Wesker down, over Sheva/Jill's back, and Wesker will fall backwards and tumble into an open volcano.
2. A shadowy figure will yell from above "HEY CHRIS, USE THIS!" and toss a rocket launcher. Originality FTW.
