They're a combined punishment and warning. If you manage to wrack up 30 you get a days ban. 40 is a week. And 100 is a month, although normally you've caused so much trouble if you hit 100 that you'll get a perma ban. Fortunately for you folks Infractions wear off after a while, a month at most for most punishments and usually a few days or a couple of weeks.
I'm partial to Sherry, Steve, Ada, Wesker and Birkin. I love Claire, too, and she's my favorite "heroine," but she's not my all-time favorite character.
I've always had a special place in my heart for the underdogs of Resident Evil, not only because they're so heavily unloved, but I personally find them to be much more interesting.
Topics like this amuse me, theres always people who secretly like a character but openly announce their dislike of them just because everyone else likes them. Jill is a good example of this, so is Chris.
I would personally say Chris/Jill and Billy are my top favorites as far characters go. Jill and Chris fall into the same category for really the same reasons. Jill more so then Chris because Resident Evil 3 was one of my most anticipated games and when I finally did play it I found it enjoyable. Chris as a character goes has good morals and is committed towards his goal. He isn't made out to be super-hero like but is still able to complete his mission at the end of the day. Same goes for Jill, her tribulations in RE3 really showed her humanity and based off of UC showed that even after that she was just as committed as Chris.
Billy I just liked because of his story. You felt bad for the guy because you knew he was in trouble for something not totally his fault. He might not of been an important part of the overall Resident Evil story, but he still played his part in helping Rebecca.
I don't like Jill, but maybe I'm a bit biased, because when I'm being Chris is Umbrella Chronicles and I'm low on health, she's always like "Get back!" or something like that, but I'm already frustrated at that point, so I'm like
"What're you gonna do, bitch? I'm doing all the work!!!"
I have three top favorite characters: Ada Wong, Albert Wesker, and Morpheus Duvall
Ada Wong: I'm a HUGE fan of Femme Fatale characters. I think Ada has one of the most complex personalities in the entire series, and I love that parts of her are still a complete mystery. Ada intrigues me because she is intelligent and alluring, a fatal combination. I will always have a special place in my heart for Ada.
Albert Wesker: Like with Ada, Wesker has a very complicated personality and story. He's the monster in the background that no one can seem to get rid of. He often holds the trump card in situations and seems to be ten feet in front of the other characters at all times. I also like the fact that Wesker and Ada have a very complicated relationship. IMO it's a mixture of sexual tension, distrust, and contempt.
Morpheus Duvall: HERE ME OUT! even though he was the villain in one of the worst games of the series, I like Morpheus for almost the same reason that people like Alfred. I love how over the top and camp he is. I love his dreams of grandeur of a perfect world where everything is beautiful. And, this may sound odd, but I find mentally unstable people fascinating.
PS: Excella Gionne is rapidly working her way up my list, but I can't let her in until I've played the entirety of RE5.
