I don't want to see spoilers but man I'd love to see what people are talking about...
Youre gonna love this spoiler too, but stay strong, less than 2 weeks man, although this spoiler for me only got me more excited, and now i am not looking at any otehrs, as this was the best one yet!
But concerning the spoilers, yes Spoiler:
zombies are confirmed
to make a comeback, in the recent playthrough that was held in california, on the website, it details all the spoilers of the game. I only looked at the Spoiler:
enemies
section ,but it does detail them , and that pciture of the Spoiler:
" zombie" is in fact a zombie
. There is a picture of a Spoiler:
tribal majini, which says " common infected", and then next to the picture of the zombie , it says " moaning corpse"
So yes, rejoice, it was certainly beyond my imagination!

- Single player is not near as good as Re4
Positives
- Balanced chekpoints
- well balanced enemeis
- good ammo placement
- removal of needless backtracking ( i thought they wanted exploration?)
- Camp drama
- Co-op play
* Note: Again, they say Re4 straddled the line between old and new Re's perfectly

PALGN
8.5/10
*Following Re4 is a monumental task
*"Despite not changing much from its popular predecessor, Resident Evil 5 is still an incredibly entertaining, very immersive and intense action title. A solid debut for the franchise on the current generation."
pro's
- Sheva AI usually impressive
- Playing with a friend is the best way , either co-op or split screen
Con's
- Like how the real time inventory adds to the intensity
- They like the stylish melee attacks ( chris and sheva's)
- Like the variety of enemies
- Graphics and details on everything is great
- Terrific flow
- Surrounding enemies and hordes are scary, but not in the sense of the classic horror scares
- One of the most intense action experiences ever
- Higher difficulties are when Sheva can be frusterating
- Atmosphere and fear of the classics is for the most part gone because of Co-op, and the quantity of enemies
- Repetitive enemy animations
- Biggest fault is it isnt the evolution that Re4 was
Games radar ( One of the best reviews i have read, up front with ya, and a few cool things added in)
9/10
* Re 4 was a revolution not only for Re, but the entire industry, and defined future success of games like Gears and dark sector
* Resident Evil 5 cannot do what Re4 did ( revolutionize) as it is Re4 with tweaks ( not a bad thing)
* Re 4 too Re5 is equal to Re 2 to Re 3 , a technical improvement, but lacking in imagination
* Stands out as one of the most memorable action experiences of late, particularly with two players
* Re 5 is not survvial horror
* Focus is on shootign the living hell out of things
* melee attacks are important
* The constant checkpoint system is good for keeping the adrenaline going, but sacrificies any fear of dying that was prevalent in the classics
* Big replay value with the constant action
* Youll forget your playign Resident Evil with all teh action
* There is a weird feel with the inability to run and shoot because of producers want for survival horror roots, but the survival horror roots are not really there
* puzzles are silly
* Single player is great, coop is much better
* Files are an oddity with two players, when one might want to read, the other not?
* Sheva's areas in coop are a little more interesting and dangerous ( being boosted to new areas)
* terrific extras includign mercenaries which is insnaly fun and addiciting like in Re4
* The library with all the tomes of Re is terrific for fans, though the presenatiton is extremely dull
* Its like Re4, just nto as powerful, spookiness and intirgue stripped down for balls out action
Which is better section?
Gears 2 or Re5?
Equal. Neitehr scary at all, but gears multiplayer is better at this point.
Dead space or Re5?
Re 5. Dead space is a better solo campign, but teh coop in Re5 edges it out
Homecoming or Re5?
Uncomparable. Homecoming embraces its survival horror roots, while Re 5 is more a Gears action fest. Cant compare.
i feel so disappointment in Resident Evil 5 what i got was GhostRider,StarWars (without Force&lightsaber) Female Raiden,Xmen just over hype crap. Jun Takeuchi Killed RE5 i do see why shinji mikami wont play RE5 and i agree

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll just do it here...
A heads up for Australians. The tv show 'Good Game', on ABC2 Monday nights, repeated on ABC1 Friday nights, is reviewing a number of horror/zombie games on the next episode (coming this Monday).
*Resident Evil 5
*Silent Hill Home Coming
*House of the Dead Overkill
*Dead Rising Chop till you Drop
Good:
* Beautifully detailed graphics and character animations
* Having a partner enhances the fun and excitement while adding tension
* Real-time menu system keeps you immersed
* Plenty to do once you've beaten it.
Bad:
* Frustrating hurdles to leap when joining an online game
* Slow, deliberate movement and gunplay may not appeal to everyone
* Can't swap weapons with a human teammate online
I didn't know about the swapping weapons online (I've only been playing offline and I do it all the time).
Hey Sheva, is there a vet around here? 'Cause these pythons are sick!
