Besides, I can see no reason for someone posting to not use the [spoiler] [ /spoiler] brackets around their spoiler content when posting in general. 'cause, I mean, even if something's been out for some time, it still sucks to be told that;

It's tough. Because, what if there are some people come here and are enthusiastic about RE5 but they don't have a PS3 or 360...so they obviously haven't played it yet. There has to be somewhere they can go to talk about the game without reading spoilers. I feel like spoilers should be tagged for a while.

The FAQ for this site suggests a month after the final release date.
I.E, if RE0 was released 12th Jan for US, and 12th Feb for UK, it'd be 12th Mar.

Yeah, I was about to suggest a month. I want to be able to still post on here without fear of stumbling across some sort of unmarked spoiler after the release.

I'm gonna marathon the game and beat it within a day, no doubt in my mind...so this isn't an issue for me, but other people are not losers like me who have nothing to do but play the game when it comes out. Some people have jobs, school, etc...so it's gonna take some people a while to play the game. They shouldn't have to worry about spoilers when coming here if they want to talk about the game. Spoilers should be marked most of the time, in my opinion.

I agree with a month or 2 after the game is relesed to give members and non members who doint own game enough time too have bought the game I think it's fair.

The one thing that anoy's me and most members's is that some members doint tag any spoilers they find it aint that hard to tag spoilers and yet some members just seem to have a problem with taging them and look a what's happen to them they have been band for a month DOT made it clear and yet some members caint do a simple task and it's really anoying.

Id say at least a few weeks, it wouldnt be fair on the people that dont want to know anything about the game before they play it. It would suck for me if i was reading a post and someone blurted out a huge spoiler.
