What did yoou use? Fraps? What's your graphic card? Or is the processor the thing that makes it run faster? The game doesn't lag when I play, but recording makes the sound lag.

Yeah, fraps. 8800GT. You'll need a good processor too obviously. I have a quad core 9550.
The sound is lagging cause you are dropping a frame or two. Thats how it handles frameloss. It could even be that the HDD your writing to isn't fast enough, but most likely it could be a combination of CPU/GPU lag.

Sure dude, can you PM me your AIM? But I don't think I can do it later today, I gotta setup for the podcast today.
I finally fixed the damn Investigation Report. Turns out it too was at the character limit in the description. Apparently that also applies even if theres no more descriptions after it.
And I crashed DD again ;_; The Rocket Launcher was at fault. Fixed it, so hopefully thats the absolute final time I have to patch item lists.

Interesting thing to note about Outbreak. If you are even grabbed by a zombie/enemy and your teammates knock it off just as they grab you, it still counts as a "hit", and you lose the no damage bonus.
Also, the PS3 has the odd quirk of actually having a longer completion time than your teammates who are on PS2. Even though you load quicker, the engine is always putting you about +1 minute 20 seconds to your time from the PS2 user. This is really odd considering you load quicker than the PS2 people.
Right now, Chris and I are figuring out the best way to get the maximum amount of points out of each scenario with only 2 players. We've found that the shutter door is best kept closed. It simply takes too long to break it down with two people. Theres so many different ways of handling things though, so maybe if one of us goes to get the pistol inside the bathroom it would be better. Hard to say really.

Right after John posted this, we changed things up a little bit and having the person who's not going for no damage/no weapon bonus play as Raymond really helped since he starts with 30 handgun bullets. With that, we found it faster to bust open the shutter instead of getting the forklift key (or at least it was the only way for John to get S rank time because of his PS3 adding nearly 1 1/2 minutes to total time compared to mine). Needs more tweaking before the Outbreak level points run is good. I remember doing this ages ago on the US servers for Outbreak.
Have to say though, File 1 is getting so old haha. We aren't moving on to File 2 till John's File 1 patch is complete and we've been playing all the scenarios over and over beta testing and junk. Ugh, haha. Will be nice to move on to File 2.
As for beta stuff, haven't really looked for much. I'm not even sure we know how to open the main files where there'd probably be the most interesting beta elements. I do know there are a few weapons and items in the item codes that are not available in the game (or File 2 either I believe), and a few unused camera angles and attached areas for the available scenarios that aren't used.sigpic

I'm really loathing the SP item sets now that I've moved on to Character specific ones. Its so frustrating when you get the wrong item set 5 times in a row, and you gotta go through barrels of cutscenes/walking before finding that out (BFP, I'm looking at you). It doesn't help that the Brady Games guide totally sucks as numerous ones are wrong.
For instance, it says all of Cindy's SP items on BFP are 0 or 1 sets (easy/normal). But if you look online, thats not true at all. There are two that are 0/1 and one thats 3, and the other thats 2/3.

Are you sure it's worth your time going through so much trouble for special items? I think you'll be sick of the game by the time you've collected them all. There's already a full transcript on Ada's site. And most likely, on a few Japanese fan sites too. Perhaps XFactor would know.
