RE5 Soundtrack

RE3? That's probably my most least listened to RE soundtrack other than Gaiden. RE1 and 2 had the best music, followed closely by RECV, RE4 and RE Outbreak.

RE3 had a few good tracks like the front hall (from RE2) and myserious orgel (when you got it wrong) but come on now, they were nothing spectacular. Also I hate how track 05 and track 06 are exactly the same on most RE3 soundtracks, who started that? A New Blood? I still see that in people's collections and laugh.

I got a sample of the soundtrack from work, for some reason they sent us discs with 6 songs on them. Most of the songs are from the trailers so they are familiar, but holy crap...Pray is an amazing piece of music. I can't wait to get my hands on this.

^Man, I am jealous. But no one really answered my question from the first post...is this being released in the US? I saw someone say it would show up on iTunes, but will that coincide with the game release next Friday?!

It will probably coincide with the release date of the game, but its not confirmed if it will come out. There are some stores here in my area that get soundtracks like these in but they order them from their original source and sell them for a slightly higher price. No word on an official release for us though. I should get mine in a few days, hopefully.

Yeah i have no idea if they plan to release it in the US or not, sorry. It seems likely to be on Itunes at least.
On another note, my preorder still hasn't arrived. Hopefully tomorrow, if not then Monday.

If anyone wants I can upload a couple of the tracks if you want them. I am not entirely sure that it counts as piracy, the cd's are samples that we give out for free and they only contain 5 songs.

"Pray" is pretty awesome - feels like something from a 007 film.

Still, the background orchestral piece would be much better without the vocals.

Yeah I think it plays in one of the TGS trailers at the end without the vocals.

Yup, at the end of the first TGS trailer. The song sounds much better without vocals - not that they ruin the song or anything - I am just more fond of orchestral music.

The Ashford Theme from CV had some vocals ...more in a poem form though.
