Yes, me too. Though it might be nice to be familiar with the music when playingfor the first time, since that rarely happens... Like when i watched the Silent Hill movie, all the music was stuff from the games but it still impressed upon me.

I'll probably listen to the ones on Evil Unleashed then wait until i can play the game to hear the rest, especially seeing since i hooked up a surround sound system today.

I assume the last verse is Chris thinking about Jill?

^Maybe it's supposed to be Chis thinking about Jill. Since I have yet to play the game, I'll just try to avoid thinking too much into it, and besides the last section of lyrics is the one that is very hard to understand. Damn singer's accent!!

Is there an instrumental version of the soundtrack? It'll be odd if there isn't, considering it was used in a trailer.

If the rest of the soundtrack is as good as the six songs evilunleashed have uploaded, then we're going to have one hell of a soundtrack for this game.

Well, the orchestral part of "Pray" was used in the first TGS trailer (sans vocals, as I imagine the focus was on the game dialogue featured in that trailer, as opposed to these confusing lyrics).

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with the vocals - I just hope the soundtrack ALSO offers a version of "Pray" that is music only.

So has anyone actually recieved their soundtrack yet? I'm still waiting on mine. I was hoping it would come today but nothing as of yet.

Any stand out tracks? Favourites? I'm guessing with 86 tracks on 3 CD's there's going to be a lot of forgettable drones too.

Edit - There's a booklet which seems to have a few sentences of info about each track, but it's in Japanese. However, it does have the lyrics for Pray in English...

Uhh, i'll let you know. I haven't actually seen that part of the game yet but there's a track on here called Two On Two followed by Old Friends, New Enemies. So i guess it could be either of those.

An example of a good music video is using the main theme from The Rock (directed by Michael Bay) to an MGS video.
