I work at a Gamecrazy, we have the game and strategy guides now but they came in a box with red tape on it that said "STREET DATED MATERIAL". Even after we opened the box to count them...there was like 2 more pieces of warning paper about street dates. Unfortuantly the SG's are shrinkwrapped =/

This is actually a weird surprise. Our cutoff date for preorders was just the other day and we got these on Saturday. We almost never get stuff this early. Even games like Halo 3 we only got the day before.

I have the e-capcom limited edition ordered through Rinkya, but its just to have. ill be waiting until the 13th for my US collectors edition, because i have plans to play with a friend.

i have the US version ordered from both Gamestop and Game Crazy, because im a whore for preorder bonuses. plus i want a messenger bag to use and one to keep mint. Ill be selling the game itself out of one of the packages to a friend, to make back some money.

I've been told this Friday I'll be getting US Version of Resident Evil 5. Possibly sooner but my source says Friday for sure.

If I do get it early, I'll take pics of the box and disc art as proof.

Playasia should send mine (Asian LE) out on Thursday from HK. It's coming express, so depending what time they send it Thursday, it could even reach me in Australia by Friday (that's Thursday America time).
However, if it's not here by Friday I may have to wait until Tuesday because Monday is a public holiday here in Melbourne! (of all the days to have a public holiday!) I don't know if the courier service they use will deliver on the weekend or public holiday.

Even if I do get it Friday, I wont really play it till next week anyway. I work weekends but I've arranged with work to have next week off (5 days).

Also with no Australian street date, it could even be sold locally by Wednesday or even Tuesday next week (10th or 11th).

Either way, I'll be playing RE5 next week!

Out here in Belgium, we have a store called game mania, and those guys usually sell games 2 days before the official release, so I've ordered myself a Limited Edition, not that is very special, but for capcom , I'll do it ;)
hope they don't dissappoint me!
