I came in here knowing people would think N-Gage 2.0 was a hardware, not a service. Glad to see SOME people are on the know how. =P

I wish they would have released it on other consoles, via online stores. I thought the game look pretty fun lol. I mean, it's basically a crappy looking low budget RE4 with all the same controls + old school zombies and dogs. I never thought I'd want to play it but after looking at some of the videos I'd like to give it a go. How much is a nokia phone that's compatible with the game by the way? I have a nokia phone, but not one you can download the game on to.Last edited by REmaster; 03-08-2009, 07:47 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

The game has 12 (IIRC) Chapters, although one of the chapters is literally only 30 seconds long and only quick time events. My first run took me only a little over an hour on it's easiest setting. There's also a mercenary mode. You're only able to play as Leon but there are weapon sets to choose from.
Gameplay is fine. It plays just like RE4. It's a little slower since you don't have a trigger button (you press a button to enter 'aim' mode). You won't need to worry about getting overwhelmed though (again, this was at the easiest setting) since the zombies are slower than the Ganado. It even has its own version of the merchant and several weapons.
The ending was a little disappointing though
Spoiler:
Final boss was a joke. If you know what to do then you don't actually need to shoot it.
Spoiler:
Also the ending was basically a recreation of one of the scenes from the movie. This is one of the better looking games for a cell phone, I'd admit. But if they were just going to do that they might as well have used screencaps from the movie. Claire looks terrible.

It's so sad that the truly awesome concept of having RE4 gameplay with old school zombies could turn out like this. But if this wasn't developed by Capcom I'll guess I'll let it slip.
But the concept is how RE6 should be IMO. But with tons of zombies, because having two slow ass zombies on screen with super-action Leon ends in some serious ownage of the undead.

I bought this last weekend, had taken me ages to get it working because my phone and wifi weren't working properly together.
Anyone not bothering with this because of it's platform, it's developer, whatever else is just missing out. When you look at it for what it is, it's a brilliant game. The only limitations are the controls, but even they're perfectly acceptable once you've played a little.
It's a really faithful recreation of nu-Resident Evil in mobular form. Mercenaries, Merchant system for buying, selling and upgrading, QTEs, with a sprinkling of zombies of constantly mutating tyrants.
I'm putting together a more in-depth feature for it because i know so many people aren't going to bother, but that's there loss anyway!
