The manual is in English? Cool. I just noticed the Chinese-looking writting and assumed it was an Asian version.

just got my copy and finished installing data (yes it's MUCH shorter than DMC4 FYI) , going to play it to death , got the PAL version by the way.

This is the Asia set. Asia set is not in Japanese, since obviously, only people in Japan speaks Japanese. The rest of the Asia can speak and understand English so its released in English for Asia.

wasn't the system supposed to be red with this Special Edition package? ..or is that a different edition/package?

At the moment. I have no Xbox360 or PS3...so looking at all options as to which system & package to get. I'm not all that thrilled about the red 360, dunno, is it just me or does it look like a horrible orange color? ..maybe its just the pics I've seen of it. It should be BLOOD red! ;)
