Oh god...now comes the horrible debate...I really...really want the 360 version now because of that lovely case. But... play-asia is out of stock, and ebay has them for the small price of $250 aka my entire paycheck. Oh lord in heaven....must....resist....temptation...too much...
250 dollars for a 360 limited edition RE5? O.O What? LE here is about £45.
I have the worst luck of overpaying for something, and then finding it for about half the price later. Take the time I paid $150 for a sealed copy of the original release of Nocturne. Not two days after I did, I learned that they were rereleasing the game, and a few days after that I found a copy of the original release at a Gamestop in a different town...for $19. I'm used to it...and seeing as how I no longer have a car to make payments on I can spare a little bit extra.
BAWWWWWW. It's so beautiful. Seriously, Dot, lucky you. Both versions look lovely, and I'm envious, but at the same time, it makes me even more excited to finally get my Collector's Edition in a few days.
The artbook didn't look that exciting though, which is a little disappointing, but that steelcase for the 360 version is just gorgeous. The art of Excella and Wesker on the back looks beautiful.
You all are crazy dishing out cashloads for that stuff. I'm a fan, but not on the level that you all are.
One game disc and game case is enough for me, though I am interested in that "art book." How many pages is it, and what kind of pics/info are on the inside (if you can disclose without spoilers)?
