I just getting the standard version. I am a fan of the series but don't have any room for this stuff. Plus I know Dot will put scans of the art book next week.
I have the worst luck of overpaying for something, and then finding it for about half the price later. Take the time I paid $150 for a sealed copy of the original release of Nocturne. Not two days after I did, I learned that they were rereleasing the game, and a few days after that I found a copy of the original release at a Gamestop in a different town...for $19. I'm used to it...and seeing as how I no longer have a car to make payments on I can spare a little bit extra.
Why though? Surely you could get it cheaper elsewhere, that amount of money for a game is ridiculous. Which version are you getting and where from?
No, I'm just saying she should really consider getting it elsewhere. I'm sure there's places that do them for cheaper and it's best to shop around for better deals, especially when it comes to games. From personal experience there can be a difference of about £10 on the same game for shops within a 5-10 minute walk of eachother.
Don't worry about it Alexia...I already bought it. At this point in time...I really just don't care. I don't have to worry about paying any of my bills until the end of the month. And I have been saving a bit of money for a few months. True it is way too much...but I'll get money back. Besides...I should be getting my money from my taxes back within a few weeks too, and that'll be around $500.
Also oh man, with all the special things out there with art and stuff, I hope people wind up scanning the renders and official images. My graphics and icon-making finger is twitching and wanting HQs of some of these *_*
One game disc and game case is enough for me, though I am interested in that "art book." How many pages is it, and what kind of pics/info are on the inside (if you can disclose without spoilers)?
I had a quick flip through mine last night. It's 32 pages as I recall. Full of concept art of characters and creatures. Very nice stuff. The creature designs are a bit spoilerific, so I'm not going to look at again until I've completed the game.
Damn just tossing that stuff lol... I am getting 2 versions of RE5, on at Gamecrazy, and one at Gamestop both CE on PS3...I know I did it so I could get the special pre-order shit.
I've seen a few unboxing vids in my time - that surely has to be the best one. Watch how he disregards the first box and shoves it into the corner. Great stuff. I've never seen anyone act so carelessly to a box. Damn those boxes to hell I say.
I was gonna play the PS3 first, but after I saw the framerate at the start, I popped in the 360 Going through it now. Apparently its the same disc for every region. Makes sense, since I have full english and RE instead of BH.
So if you want Biohazard displayed with English subs, the Japanese PS3 version is it. Weird.
And yeah, the 25Hz-ish Kijuju entrance is a bit jarring alongside one other portion. Good overall, but it's a shame that they didn't optimize the code as well as the two versions of DMC4.
Curious if you're still experiencing tearing on the 360 because the issue is apparently an anomaly that varies in various hardware versions and can be eliminated by setting the system's output to 720p.
