  • Received the CE collectors guide- early enemies, stages, gameplay etc.

Ya i just received teh CE Re5 guide from UPS today, and its absolutly amazing. I would highly reccommend any Re fan get it, it provides alot of cool stuff beyond the amazing wlakthrough

Hers a few cool things in it
Zombies- In a trio of screenshots, there is picures of some very ewalry gameplay of Re5. The colors are very different then the ones we are playign today, and chris is in his 2005 blue uniform. the setting in these pictures is very dark and creepy, one is in a dark abandonded washroom, the other in a shadowy office. The coolest though is one of two zombies lurching towards chris. They are blac, wearign an orange shirt, theyre very pale and lurchign towards chris, very cool indeed.

Originally, the spiders in the game, the Bui Kichiwa, was goign to be a las plagas attachment to the majinis heads, sprouting otu a spider to consume chris.

    the Spoiler:
were going to be like some warhammer creature. They were going to be very skinny , with sharp protusions all over their body. They also were going to have an extra set of arms, liek an insects tiny arms on their midsection.

Eearlier in develpment, in 2007, tehre was going to be a button command to dodge majini sword attacks. The enemeis were moving much faster, and attacking more, and a button prompt would come up to avoid the swordor weapon swings. Its the same as the one on the 2007 tgs trailer were chris is avoiding the swings with a slight blur when he moves.

the early public assembly is shown, and it looks much cooler then the curren one i must say. There is way mroe enemies, lots of female majini, the bus you can go on was originally set to be taken down by the majini with garppling hooks ( tgs o7 )and cathc on fire. enemies were supposdely smarter as well, as s few are shwoing picking up furniture, chairs, to attack chris. there is alot more shadowin, lots of bridges and way more hosues, This public assmebly looked much much muich bigger and cooler.

A few of the dlc modes are revealed as well, i can go over those if you like, and how they play, the secret characters too.

This is the hardcover one, correct? This one? Cause it's on its way to my house now and I'm excited. How's the extra artwork in it? Are there any official art-renders/images?

Yup thats the one man, very glad youre happy about it!
The artwork throughotu is amazing, even in the walkthrough its littered with great pictures of enemies and such. But the Collectors is teh way too go, the extra artwork and such is terrific. There is early character concept art, early gameplay footage, ABSOLUTLY STUNNING renders of the various stages, and the calendar that you get ( it starts in march to coincide with the game) is beautiful, it features every month a new enemy in beautiful concept art.

I would defintly say for a fan of the series, pay teh extra $10 for the collectors, its well worth it

And a note, this has to be one of the most beautiful and well put togetehr game guides i have ever seen, and im defintly into that.

      Hoep it arrives soon Yzak

Extra artwork and stuff is why I buy artbooks to begin with, so I am like YAY. They were selling them at GameStop last night with the game, so I was like 'DOH, now I have a wait a couple more days for my own since I didn't think about that. XD

Heads up, the only thing different with the LE guide is the calendar, and about 16 pages of full-page artwork. 99% of it is just screens of levels. All this "beta" stuff is in the normal guide, and also a good portion of it is in the E-Capcom artbook.
