Dudes Stealing RE 5 and LE Consoles In Broad Daylight

I was in my local EB games yesterday and these two guys were hovering around a display / try it out plastic case that contained the special edition RE 5 console in red and the game itself, X BOX I think it is. Anyway, in broad daylight and in a store full with people, the guy who was in front of the bx actually KNEED the thing hard and tried to bust open the case to snag the console and the game ! What made it even more weird was that everyone turned when they heard the smashing sound and the guy serving up front walked over and told them to bugger off, and these two guys just laughed and walked out as if nothing was wrong.

I personally was shocked at how brazen it was, and I asked if this was a regular occurance and one of the girls who worked there said that they have had a lot of consoles stolen and games too, and yet THEY HAVE NO CAMERAS INSTALLED IN THE SHOP !

I mean, I want RE 5 as bad as the next fan, but this was unreal. Has anything like this happened to you guys in your favourite game shop ? With RE 5 or even another hotly wanted game ?

On Black Friday at the mall two years ago I was in line to get a Wii. GameStop screwed the people over by saying they'd have a lot, but having only one. Anyway, when the gates opened, people who were waiting for hours in line were fucked over by one dude who ran forward while the gates were opening and diving under the gate to get there before the guy who was first in line.

And they sold it to him. I was dumbfounded.

actually i had a decent experience at the wii launch. the guys in front of me who were gonna scalp there wiis were nice enough to hold my spot when i had to walk down to the gas station to go to the bathroom.

it was a nice experience, i tihnk if i ever have a console launch im definately goin to new haven for console launches

apparently, someone stole a Wii on launch date right before the store opened. A year later the person bought items on Black Friday before the store opened. AP got her and fired her on the spot along with an accomplice.....

Ive heard on the news about people shooting eachother over a PS3, and the one chick who died of water posioning to win a Wii...one story was..

There were a couple guys in line who were acting like complete asses to people and being rude, so one dude offered to get them coffee if they held his place in line, so they agreed, and he came back with the coffee's and he had put laxative in there coffee. Both dudes had the shits and had to run out of line and missed out on whatever consol launch there was lol...(kinda related story)

i heard when the xbox 360 came out a kid and his mother or father i dont know! well anyway they just got done buying a xbox 360 core and like 10 meters away from the store, two guys came up punched the kid in the face and took off with it!! Freakin i would have thrown my shoe at his nuts! then uppercut him like RE5 or went behind him and twisted his neck(not really).

The ex-lax story is kind of assholish. He could've put them in danger, and it's kind of like hitting someone in the back just because you're too gutless to ask them to shut up.

Once I let it slip to this girl that I liked her former blonde dye better. Instead of saying:"you're an ass!!!" she said nothing but she looked annoyed so I said sorry, me and my big mouth. She waited until my back was turned and she pushed me in a stair case and ran (I didn't fall though, I'm quick on my feet). ALL BECAUSE OF HER STUPID HAIR

That's hilarious..I saw a video of some guys in Russia walking down the street and they come to a Sony display with a giant PSP in it..so they bust the plastic and rip the thing out in broad daylight with all these people walking by! The video ends with them running down the street with this 5 foot PSP.

But this happening in a game store is pretty messed up.

I saw a similar thing happen when the 360 launched. A "customer" asked at the counter to purchase a 360, the girl serving pulled it off the shelf ready to scan it through the till, and the guy snatched it out her hands and ran out the store. Fortunately he was also an idiot, who tried to make his escape via the adjacent train station.

Note to all would-be criminal masterminds: an escape vehicle that only arrives once every 15 minutes at a place with only one exit is not the best idea.

There was also an incident where a kid bought a ps3 and as soon as he left the store he got jumped and they took his ps3 and nobody did anything, how messed up is that. Also some fool didnt read the whole description for a ps3 on ebay and bought a ps3 box for $500 LOL.
