seven years isn't a short while .. well of course its not like i know many south-african-english-speakers anyway.

I know an American guy who has been living here in Britain for 15 years or so and he hasn't lost an inch of his natural accent. I guess it depends how far... 'evolved' you are for lack of a better word.

By the way, has anyone found any translations for the Swahili spoken in the game by the Majini? I know there's several blogs online that translate the Spanish phrases spoken in RE4 by Los Ganandos but Spanish is obviously a lot more universally spoken by bilingual people... Swahili is a beautiful language though and i'd love to know what they are yelling whilst trying to rip Chris and Sheva's heads off!
