Would you want zombies back?

I'm just a little curious to see how many people would want the old RE style zombies back after having 2 games with the Ganado style now.

Fuck me thrice, yes. There a lot more scary for me, than Ganados. It's not as though having two dozen zombies competing to take the first bite from your flesh won't be scary. The only problem I can see is they don't have the same variety as ganados...they either throw up on you, bite you or turn into a Crismson Head and rape you.

Here here AJ! I'd often pondered what would of happened if Resident Evil 4 had crimson heads in it instead of Ganado.

Personally I think that would of been utterly terrifying.


But on the subject I was secretly hoping we'd get a few at the end of Resident Evil 5, just for old times sake, but sadly no. But yes, I'd love it for them to return.

So much yes. Even if they were mixed in with other monsters, zombies are the original RE baddie. Lest we forget that epic, first ever zombie spotting scene. 8D

They could put normal zombies in places where there is no much space to move around.

Really. I know part of the idea of the Ganado enemies was that zombies are slower, but fans have already mentioned the Crimson Heads, for open areas. There are a lot of narrow areas in 4 and even 5, where zombies would be a threat.

I don't know why Capcom decided to scrap the zombies from RE5. They said it was because zombies were too slow, yet the 2005 trailer showed that the zombies could run really fast.

Oh yes! ZOMBIES! And while we're at it lets set the game in a mansion again! better yet! Lets set it in the middle of a forest so we all feel isolated and trapped, OH! I can feel the tension now! INSPIRED!.

I didn't mind the ganado and majini, while Zombies would be welcomed back, lets face it with the new camera controls the only effective zombies would be crimson heads and again lets face it all they did was get up, run about on a collision course with you and hack n' slash.

Im beginning to think on the rail mechanics like the Umbrella Chronicle games are the only real way to deal with Zombies now due to the ludicrous amounts of ammo and large amounts of them on screen etc, it makes more sense then throwing tons of zombies and the current RE control mechanics, they'd just be even more target practice then the Majini.

I think the zombies would have there own dangers. If nothing else making them mostly the 'olympic sprinter' zombies and remove the stun. That would make them pretty unpleasant. I must admit, though, the Majini are a big improvement over the Ganado (bar a couple of glitches I've run into where a one or two would just stand there, looking dim) and having them both would be pretty damned cool.
