  • What happened to all the female Majini?

    Besides Spoiler:
I only came across one female majini and it was in an alley. I know there was a lot more in Mercenaries but why was there hardly any in the actual game?

That's what I was thinking, but then why were they all in Mercenaries?

There were female Majini...only in Kijuju. If you read one of the files, it explains that the Level 2 Plaga did poorly in the bodies of females and children, and they died. Hence why you don't see any female tribal majini.

I don't remember the exact one...probably. But regardless...that's why the female majini are limited.

Was anyone else really bothered by the way the female Majinis screamed? It was so shrill, and you could hear them a million miles away, and it creeped me out. The female Ganados had a similar scream (although, wasn't it just a recycled voice clip of Lisa from Remake?), but it's the female Majinis that really disturb me.

I think there were only a few in the game and don't know why they didn't have more. Maybe they didn't want Chris to be a racist and a sexist. I know the one file says that Type 3 didn't work well with women and children but I thougth the town was infected with Type 2? I will check at Project Umbrella.

The same file ends with an "Itchy Tasty" kind of way.

Ha ha, I am glad some other people hace noticed that too! I thought it was a great nod to the other viruses from the previous series.

That's the first thing I said after I read that file. The 'Village Youth' one, right?

I'm sure there were a few other female majini around chapter 1-2. I think thats the only chapter I saw female ganados in. ( I think one comes after you after disposing of the white blonde female ganado before entering the Furnace building).

Yeah, Type 3 was the one which killed of the Ndipaya women and children.

And yes, the lack of female Majini was surprising, but at the same time I felt like it was to be expected with the amount of controversy which had already popped up. In total though, there are only three that I counted in the main game (one extra if you send Sheva up to get the Old Key right after leaving the Public Assembly).

Then again, looking back at 4, female Ganado were only encountered at the start of the game. By the time you got to Salazar's castle and beyond, all of the enemies were male. So in that sense, it's not as much of a surprise.
