Try playing for 30 tries in a row with a skrubby pub player and get back to me

I haven't tried professional yet...but are all of you saying that any enemy is a "one hit kill" or just bosses like Ndesu? (<--- And I am with those of you who hate fighting this guy on any difficulty.)

Most enemies are one hit kill. I got clubbed by a majini and died 3 seconds later. The Ndesu boss fight isn't one hit kill...but he takes a good portion of your health off if you get hit, and the majini helping him don't ease matters at all.

One thing I don't understand...the dogs charge at you and kill you, but if they jump and bit you it only takes a little bit of health. Any one else notice that?

So far, everything we've faced EXCEPT Ndesu has been a one hit kill(that and the dog/hyenas...when they grab you, it only drains your health a bit. No idea why), whether it be a flying bottle or a wrench or whatever...and you have about 3 seconds to save your dying partner, otherwise, it's game over. It definitely adds a sense of desperation and panic...but it can be frustrating at times.

I'm doing professional on singleplayer and Ndesu wasn't that bad. Irving however... Jesus H Fuck... I don't play with unlimited ammo, but the problem isn't that. It's that every hit puts you in "dying" state and you have about 2-3 seconds to get to your partner to revive them. You can usually get to Sheva fine and revive her if you're close enough, but if you're hit AI Sheva just. isn't. capable. of. that. So you basically can't get hit ever, and dodging tentacles/maw while on a turret never works properly so you pretty much have to spend alot of time shooting with normal weapons. Mix that with having to assign Sheva to new turrets every 10 seconds. Ugh. Took me like 30 tries.

I really dread some of the later bosses.

            Chris: "Blargh!"
            Sheva: "I'm coming!"
            "You Are Dead!"

If you wear the vest the arrows don't one-shot you in Professional.

Sina, check here for an Irving strat:

Edit: Here's a video showing how to easily take him out. But you should probably remove all of Sheva's weapons. She kept messing me up ;D

I agree with this. I finally got around to playing "Veteran" yesterday, and the Ndesu fight was aggravating as hell. I don't even think I want to try it on "Pro." Fuck, I hate that boss battle.

We just beat Pro yesterday, and I think it's safe to say that we won't be doing it again for a very long time.

Such a pain in the ass.

Ndesu was a pain in the ass even in Veteran. I will play the game on Professional tomorrow so stay tuned.

My biggest problem with Pro was the two against two, I had Sheva set to attack mode before the fight and we both had little health so I had to waste precious time fixing that before heading to the door to hide in the corridors, but she insists of handling Jill by taking a bullet to the face. Two human players make that battle no problem = run away.

Other than that Pro was relatively ok, just rather unfair.

Heh, I beat the boss fight on my 2nd try. Those buttons come quick!

Still I'm betting the Wesker fight is going to be impossible without a human partner.

I beat Pro mode earlier today with just the AI. Ndesu was easier than I thought he would be, I only died once. The biggest problem for me was the two on two fight - the AI would just happily walk right into danger.

Wow, didn't know a rocket launcher anywhere got him into phase 2. I thought it was all about the eye.

I had a fully upgraded handcannon which I eventually unloaded to finally kill him, but getting him to phase 2 was the hard part. *sigh*

Okay, I am trying to beat Ndesu on Pro, and I cannot even get to the second phase of the plagas bursting from his back. How the fuck do you keep him from stomping on you? I'll shoot his foot, but half the time it works, half the time it doesn't. I cannot consistently stop his stomp attack and it keeps destroying my health bar.

I am tempted to throw my controller into the screen. The AI partner cannot compensate for shit!

                              Help!

Are you playing as Sheva or Chris? I had a much easier time hitting the sweet spot on his foot to keep him from stomping on me as Sheva.
