Alright, I'm glad that I get to post it in this thread, but suffice it to say this one blows the first Mercs out of the water (and ditto RE4 mercs). When I gave my impressions in the Gold thread I had played a single match with each character.

What I enjoy most about this one is that although one can argue they pussied out on the difficulty, definitely not so in terms of the enemies. Someone mentioned that the majini are more on the offense in this one, and despite initial skepticism it did actually seem that way. A lot less pointing and gaps between swings. The clincher though is the variety of enemies you run into. I was racking up a combo online in Public Assembly, a friggin' Duvalia spawned, and my heart sank (also, what are bui kichwa doing there?). The adjules in Mines (which I was nonetheless expecting) can also be assholes.

Perhaps someone can make a list of the redone enemy spawns, I'm curious if the experimental facility has anything new

I've seen blond girl in the assemble area and a minigun mini boss on ship deck. Also some fat man majini have weapons now.

Crap, you took the words out of my mouth. I forgot about the blond haired girl. For some reason her presence and big man majini with weapons were two things that actually creeped me out.

I find it hard to use Barry, I'm more into Folklore Sheva and Excella, I seem to be better with them too.
Cannot wait for Becky and Business Sheva.

When I first saw the blond girl, I was playing as Excella. So I shot her in the leg and did the b!tch-slap move which made me laugh hysterically.

I am in need of a merc partner for Duo PA! My topscore in old merc in duo PA is 847k, I need someone to help me break 900k. I haven't started in getting high scores at merc reunion but if anyone is interested we can team up. Either Barry or Warrior Chris will have to do it since both of them are the only onces easy to attain high scores currently since we can't use other characters yet.

My favorite characters in Resident Evil 5 Mercenaries is Jill BSAA & Sheva BSAA. I think they are fun to play with, personally i don't like playing as Wesker cause he too powerful. lol & Chris S.T.A.R.S. is awesome [Grenade Launcher]. I also got SS ranks with all my characters in every stage In Duo, except in Solo, I just need to finish "Prison". I Just need Chris BSAA, Sheva BSSA, Sheva Clubbin & both Jills. But I'll get it eventually =]

I've gotten 4 SS ranks with metal Chris...
Business Sheva does have a ridiculous handgun.
Rebecca's melee = Flame Thrower. (the rest are weak, but you don't need the others)
And joshes melee attacks are awesome, but he fails against village majini, his Beretta doesn't set up reliably.

Heavy Metal Chris is actually really good, you just can't suck with the stun rod (which counts as melee kills btw)
Business Suit Sheva's handgun is indeed ridiculous.
Rebecca's flame spray is awesome, and it's easy killing if you do the jump hit then kick them on the ground. Or the flame spray.
Josh Stone is ungodly awesome. His hammer blow, elbow drop, iron tackle, and suplex are sweet.

The two super-melees I've seen are Josh's Dynamite Kick (I only wish he yelled "I AM A LEGEND!!" when he did it ) and Rebecca's Stun Gun. Holy balls, that gun is huge.

Yeah, I loved that. That's her move that changes when paired, from the normal spray to the double-flame spray. That shit is beast.

Phew, just got a nice 309k with Business Sheva in the Mines. Thank God I now have "KILL THE CHICKEN!!!" hardwired into my brain.

I can't get into Heavy Metal Chris. His armor is easily my favorite aspect but the ease of Josh, Sheva, and Rebecca's melee attacks are too good to pass up.
