I think Kijuju looked much better in the 2007 trailer. It looked a lot brighter which made the environments look more detailed. They even had a button prompt for dodging enemy attacks, can't believe they took that out of the final game.
I also noticed in the CE guide that Majini's could attack you with chairs and other furniture, that would have been so much more realistic. I would really like to know why they decided not to include all those things.Last edited by CODE_umb87; 03-19-2009, 01:33 AM.

I still love the game, still hate Sheva's AI.

I think it's also worth pointing out how many women Majini there were in those trailers too. Why they almost cut them out in the final product, is still a mystery to me. I also noticed a move Chris could do in those earlier trailers, one where he gets grabbed from the front by a Majini, he pushes him back as usual and then punches him.
And about the unused dialogues, and "tube girl" opening her eyes in that earlier trailer, that is very interesting.

Or perhaps it was just intended to add suspense to the end of that one trailer? I mean, there was also a scene with a small lone uroboros writhing on the ground in a trailer than I don't remember seeing in the game.

If you're just asking about the Chris in an airplane scene though, I'll track it down on youtube and post it here with the timestamp of the scene itself.

There, it's around the 0:13 mark. That was NOT in REUC.

Maybe...but to me it looks like he's sitting in a small commuter plane. Here's the ending to REUC "Mansion Incident" - helo ride at 9:04 looks far different from the image in my other post.

I have always said that those early trailers, the Captivate 08, and the TGS 07 trailer were the best, that was the RE 5 game i wanted to play. The atmosphere , the enemy numbers, the vivid colors, the essence of being alone and surviving this ' Beta' assembly place, the dodging of the blades, the open areas and shacks, the grand level design, the claustrophobia, everything down to the last detail looked better, and i guess co-op was a contributing factor to the loss of this.
Again, not complaining, Re 5 was an incredible game, my game of teh year 2009 and 2009, but i agre with Gideon, its almost as if the full game was like a production, like in some ways they were trying to push the coop too much, hard to explain.
That vibe felt in this traileri s somewhat gone as well, teh detail to the village envrionment was astounding, and i find myself wishing that it would have been more like this.
Again, hard to describe but i feel waht you guys are saying, alot of people i have been keeping up with said the same, its a mix of thinsg i suppose, coop kind of lent a new vibe to the game ( much more action focused) the lack of escape and hide wasnt there as Takeuchi said it would be) the enemy numbers were better in the trailers, and more vicious enemies, as well they were all black, and it lent to that vibe i believe, adding all the white , asian, and middle asian enemies took that away
Gosh, im reading all your posts and i cant agree more, i wondered for a while if i wast he only one taht loved these traielrs more then i loved the final game. Everything you guys have said is good, i really wish capcom had gone a different route on many of the things this game had, really wish they did.Last edited by Wanderer; 03-19-2009, 08:22 PM.
