I'm not going to be all disgusting and freak anybody out
I'm afraid that ship has already sailed... (just kidding )

But thanks for making me feel slightly less pathetic, for having a crush on Ada and Sheva.

          You're borderline.

John, cut this thread down. Cut it down.

See, part of me is trying to tear my eyes away and then another part of me is thinking "Damn, Wesker looks good". This game has plenty of stuff to please fans it seems. Topless Wesker, Tribal Sheva, Jills er....vagina.

Hehe, at least I don't think Wesker is real. You should check out this chick on livejournal, not only is she honestly in love with Sephi from FF7, she also thinks he loves her back.

I think people like that kind of earn fangirls in general a pretty bad name. Provided one can discuss a game intelligently, what's the problem with enjoying the eyecandy on the side? XD

This fascination that some people have with fictional characters is almost bizarre. I'm not suggesting that we don't have favourite characters, we all have a certain character or two who we like, but it's when it goes beyond that.

Wesker took off his shirt because he's bad to the bone. But the (real) oldest dude I've ever seen with excellent peak physique must be Vince McMahon, the owner of the WWE. That's a gramps that could easily kick your ass.

Anyway... Don't get scared all about this. Sex sells. If they show a little skin, let the people enjoy. Even if it's not real...

It's true, some people will go to completely disturbing lengths out of character love. I think it's quite important to be able to draw the line somewhere because, well, what's wrong with real life?

I guess that since fictional characters are almost always idealized in one way or another, it can be quite easy for people to start worshipping them... There is also the fact that they are sometimes made to appeal to a specific type of person. I think there are a number of very interesting studies on the matter. There was a very good doco series focussing on all different kinds of obsessives in different fandoms. It's quite an interesting watch.

And Oh my god, A-J, did you capture that yourself? It had me howling with laughter. I think I woke up my entire household. XD

I think the only thing that might make me a borderline mutant is the fact that I almost wish the Sonnentreppe was a real plant, it's got beautiful flowers. The actual garden that they grow in was idyllic, one of my favourite places in the game in fact.

It would be pretty neat to recreate that garden. Maybe someday somebody will grow flowers like that... I liked that garden too, for one thing it was pretty, for another thing, nothing was trying to eat me so I could actually enjoy the sight for once.

Getting a little off topic (though I know most of you don't WANT to stay on topic) did you find that a lot of the time, it was kind of hard to just stop and look around because of simply being attacked all the time? The fact is, the areas were all so beautifully crafted, I just don't feel as if I got to appreciate them as much as I would have liked.

Aye, I agree. As I've stated before, I feel that the graphics in RE5 are sadly one of the more overlooked parts of the game. People discussed the story, the plot, the gameplay, the co-op and all that, which is fine but in doing so we didn't really notice how truly remarkable the game looks, especially the lighting.

Yeah, the Sonnentreppe garden was great. What makes me smile is that the plant itself is part of the Asteraceae family, which more or less means that it belonged to the same family as the sunflower and the common daisy. I never once thought that my childhood interest in horticulture and gardening would one day prove beneficial in a survival (action) horror franchise.

I thought the area looked great but I am guilty of just running through the area.

When I get my own copy I'll pay more attention to it, I promise.
