Custom RE figures?

I was just wondering if anyone here ever made any custom resident evil figures. I made a barry but uh...yea it didn't turn out the way I hoped. I found some pretty good ones on this link: here The Jill figure is pretty damn good I think.

There are some good models there.
I've thought about trying to make some of my own but never gotten around to it...

I found this one a few days ago.
I was really excited when I first saw it but on closer inspection, I realized that they have taken the Moby Dick Nemesis Type 2 and made a mold of it, so they can produce a solid statue. Then added a removable jacket for the figure. There are a bunch of pics of it here:

You can even see the holes in his back where you're supposed to add the extra tentacles.
It's still pretty cool and I'd think about buying one if I didn't already have the MD Nemesis Type 1 & 2 figures.

How do you even do it?

Well from what I gather, making custom figures takes three main obstacles. The first, is that you have to find other figures that have the parts you need, such as the right legs, torse, accessories, etc. The second part is having the skill to make your paint job on the figure look professional, which I lack lol. The final part is knowing how to do additional molding to the figure, which is where it's starts getting into the dedicated zone. However, I suppose it's all worth the hard work in the end if it get's you a cool one of a kind RE figure. Plus, good custom figures can sell on ebay for mad money. There was this one figure on ebay I saw that was a custom Barry Burton. Basically, they just took the Neca 10th anniversary Chris figure, repainted his vest and boots, then molded on a beard. It actually looked awesome, and even though I was outbided on it, the guy that made it got like 90 bucks for it. That's alot of profit for a $13.00 figure with a minor paint/mold job. I guess I'll upload some pics of my custom Barry figure.

The first few figures are cool, the ones at the end look rushed
