Kinda like the whole flashback scene in RE5, right?

Yeah essentialy - Prelude to the Fall did occur, but because it was a Japan only release the script for Resident Evil 5 doesn't reflect this. Plus Chris and Wesker's meeting is so inconsequential it hardly constitutes a meeting - more or of a "Oh I've seen you, Hi!" kind of thing.

What I want to know is why did it take Wesker and the BSAA so long to find his estate? The place looked huge and stuck out like a sore thumb. I know Spencer was very secretive of his life but how could you miss a big place like that.

I figured he was talking about the place they met in the earlier flashback, it makes sense.

I'm thinking the estate might be in a very remote place. None of the files said exactly where the estate was located, did they?

Is that a serious question? Say out of all the millions of creepy mansions and castles in the entire world, you're saying they should've found that particular house by chance and said "Yep, this is probably Spencers."

Well its likely the BSAA didn't go around searching mansions and estates until they found him. Plus as much as it stuck out as an ominous place, Spencer obviously was someone who didn't want to try attention to himself so he kept under the radar of everyone. He was also arrogant, so he probably wouldn't live in anything of less value than an estate like that.

I think Weskers line "We last met.." was a really good line. Not so much in the game, but for the advertising of the game it was one of the most talked about lines. Fans questioned who Wesker was talking to because it was just assumed that it was the Arklay Mansion so he must be talking to Jill or someone else. Very clever on Capcoms part of placing that line in the early trailer.
