What??? 60 bucks for Code: Veronica for GC??? Damn... I got it for 250 MXN (like 18 US bucks), but here RE3 and RE2 are so f'n expensive, like $42 dollars.
Now I cherish more my GC collection for sure.
Mmm... for me the best RE2 version is PC. Art gallery, Movie Gallery, Character model gallery, all mini games... The GC version should have all those extras... not just a PSX port.Last edited by Beanovsky Durst; 03-27-2009, 03:33 AM.

i felt that the n64 version was the worse of the bunch the graphics were horrible and the sound was complete shit.

Just got back from the game store with the DREAMCAST version. Playing on my standard def TV using S-Video cables and it looks sweet especially the FMV cutscenes. NIGHTMARE MODE IS fun as hell!
I know like most of you I've probably played RE2 lots of times but it truely is a timeless classic game. I'm sorry RE5, but the zombies, atmosphere, environment, characters and music are leaps ahead of this gen of survival horror games. I was playing this with the lights off in my basement and I heard a noise coming from my window (like an arm trying to open it) SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME! LOL probably was the wind. Over 10 years later and this game still stands out as the masterpiece that it is!
Concept art is pretty cool. But I really love seeing my "Caution" health on my VMU display that's just slick! Dreamcast was definitely ahead of it's time.

@Dot50cal
yes, a sort of "debug menu" which allows you to chose item randomizer, violence control, first-person... the N64 version has that feature Dot, you should know that
@umbrella corpse
Maybe the sound was a bit compressed because Angel Studios was forced to to fit 2 CDs onto a single 64MB cartridge, but there are also some exclusive features like EX files, Hunters (just a little appearance)!!!.
But you're wrong about the ghraphics, the N64 versions features a 640x480 resolution (against the PS1 version's 320x240) and even the surround sound!Last edited by Sunglasses; 03-27-2009, 06:40 AM.

Item randomizer, blood editing, yes, but not the others.
