Well, Wesker's reason is more that humans are a parasitic stain on the planet and only superior people, such as himself, should be allowed. So he's gonna kill everyone else off and rule the remainder as there God, having remade creation in his imagine.

So...not an especially good reason.

Well, Leon apparently is no longer a cop. He's now a secret agent for the U.S. Government, and he's sent in to Spain to search for the President's missing daughter (not Jenna or Barbara but Ashley). He talks to his liaison via a codec. And buys lots of guns from a teleporting man with glowing eyes. Along the way, he runs up walls to backflip over hallway lasers, outruns a giant robotic statue of a maniacal midget, leaps across chasms and catches the other side one-handed, engages a duo of gigantic monsters clad in S&M gear in a lava room, and duels with a Rambo knockoff in a swordfight...with knives. The main badguy wears a giant purple moo moo and is hellbent on world domination.

Also, Ada is alive. She's also a super-secret ninja agent who can swing through the air like Spider-Man.

You play as Chris, who between the events of code veronica and now has become incredibly racist. So you travel to Africa to kill people for no good reason... then Wesker shows up and hes like "im gonna turn everyone into giant blobby monsters n stuff, k?". So you got to blast him into Mt Doom, which is the only place hot enough to destroy Wesker's super virus which was secretly given to him by the founder of the Umbrella Corporation because he thought it would be lulzy.

Well, that and motivation for Chris. She's been brainwashed, drugged and put in a crotchless combat suit. No, I'm not kidding. She also has an upside down vagina. Why? No one knows.

Her main purpose seems to be making Chris want to continue when everything has gone to hell and he doesn't know about Wesker and the doomsday virus. Bar that and the emotional impact of having your best friend, possible lover and former partner trying to stomp your nuts off she doesn't do much, but what she does do is pretty fun.

Especially once you find out she's crotchless. All those sweeping kicks take on a whole new meaning.

Crotchless Combat Suit, FTW. Yea that's one of the best parts of the game I think. There's some pretty good emotional music playing, and Chris is all like "Jill, why you actin a fool". Of course, the sweeping kicks are also nice
