  • REmake Hidden Message from Creators

I heard that if you beat the "invisible enemy mode" on REmake in under 5 hours you unlock a secret message from the game's creators plus an art gallery.

Has anyone ever actually been able to do this?

What is the message? Does anyone have youtube vids of it?

Resident Evil Fan has some images. The message is basically just a thank-you note.

Reminds me it's worth noting that the drawing for a disused bonus costume design from the Remake shown in the bonus files looks like particular costume in RE5, excuding the headpiece.

(potential spoiler in the link for people who haven't played RE5)

Whoa, good find. That's pretty...interesting, to say the least.

            ^ Wow!
That suddenly makes me think that Capcom may have been planning parts of RE5 for a lot longer than I thought!
I've usually suspected that Capcom just finish one game, then start again from scratch, thinking up new ideas and rewriting RE history as they go.

Shame that catsuit wasn't put in REmake!

I'd more likely believe that as a number of staff on RE5 also worked on the Remake, the discarded design was considered suitable for the character in RE5 and recycled.

The entire series has had a history/habit of this (discarded elements from 1.5 turned up in 3 and Code Veronica for example). They will use a good idea again even if the original product didn't work. It's not the parts that failed, just the sum of all those parts... doesn't mean there isn't anything good to be salvaged and used elsewhere.

I don't think they had an idea of where they wanted to go in the series, but probably had the idea of Jill under the control of Wesker at some point. The design shown in that picture is almost identicle for the suit, the mask even is somewhat similiar...save for the birdshape.

Good call on that Rombie. I haven't seen these pics in a while and would have never thought of that.

I wanna know what evidence people have found that 1.5 parts were used in 3: Nemesis. I can't see anything.

Well, the one thing that jumps out is the trailer Dario hides in. You see Elza go in during one of the videos. And a few other bits of scenery.
