Well, that was one hell of a "24" hour experience. I wish I could get something like that going one day. We should just all meet up someday at a THIA convention...nerdy I know...dreaming I know lol."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

It was an epic time, indeed. I have received many wonderful life lessons from this experience, and they will help me continue to prosper as an individual. Oh, the memories I shall carry with me!
No, really, guise. This was a smashing good time. Although I only saw you play REmake, 2, 3 and 5, it was amazing with many good laughs. I'm still sad I missed CVX, but I need sleep. I hope you do another marathon of another series some time. SILENT HILL, plz.
Thanks again, Leech, for informing us of this!

Yea that sucks. Perhaps one day we'll be able to figure something out."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

Hey to everyone that came by and enjoyed the marathon. Thanks for hanging around with us and our crazy southern accents and foul language, and thanks for sticking around when we were all losing our minds from lack of sleep.
It was a great time, even though it took us a little more time than expected, but we persisted and had a great time. We'll have to set up a Silent Hill marathon or something similar soon.

Hah, I made a clip from when that happened, had to have been one of the funnier moments of the night, I thought I was gonna be killed by everyone

Awesome, funny clip. I'll never be able to re-live the hilarity of that exact moment but that clip was funny.

With the action-loaded gameplay and constant dying (at least the first time around) in RE4+5 that's not possible. And it doesn't matter if you die, because you have a continue from two minutes earlier. THAT is why those games aren't scary... because dying is a completely insignificant event which is easily fixed.
Hehe, when I first played RE4 I tought "screw that", and never used the continues. I lasted up to a few rooms into the castle before I thought "screw that" again, and started using them. It was really frustrating without the continues, because I kept dying regularly the first time around, but it kept me a little more on my toes. But those games NEED continues, if not they'd become very tedious.Last edited by Anders; 04-02-2009, 08:00 PM.

By the way, I loved all your accents. I thought they were great, and I loved listening to you guys talk and fight and flail. It was all great.
