WTF that would kill RE in a whole

These people crying for a reboot, brand new characters with everything else new...wtf. You want a game thats like Resident Evil but with a whole new story. Go pick up Left 4 Dead or play Dead Rising. If you change too much of the story, it stops being Resident Evil and becomes yet another generic game like Left 4 Dead. Resident Evil has a certain charm to it, don't take that away.

I really like Darkmoon's post, and like a lot of RE fans, it makes me wish for things to have happened a different way. Games like Outbreak and UC, as much as I like the former, should have been more or less like that, a city with tons of options available. Much more grand than what we got (plus why didn't games attempt the enemy randomizer RE3 had?). I just feel Capcom will try as hard as they can to avoid a city retread...they want to do something new. The Chronicles series is so limiting it sucks.

Here's an idea..use Remake style cameras and settings and when you ready your weapon it goes into RE4,5 aiming mode..and use RE4's inventory
