Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Discussion

Sorry to say, but Rebecca was forgotten about a long time ago. Last we saw of her, she was that innocent little 18 year old medic from Bravo Team. That's all she is right now, considering she hasn't been seen in over ten years of the Resident Evil storyline.

Well, that will really suck if they never bring her back... I mean she's bound to pop up sooner or later right? All the other characters are starting to get old and Rebecca would be 28 now. She deserves to be in another game(since she did star in zero), or possibly a cameo in the next degeneration film. Capcom shouldn't create a character people are gonna like if their just gonna throw them out like garbage lol

To be honest, I think she's pretty insignificant to the overall Resident Evil storyline, so I don't see her ever coming back. I think RE0 was her shining moment and that's all she's really gonna get. However, if she ever would come back(which I don't think she will), I think Darkside Chronicles or another light-gun game is a good place to throw her in somewhere as a side mission of sorts.

It looks like Darkside Chronicles is gonna focus on Leon and Claire, though, so I don't see Rebecca popping up anywhere.

Well Rebecca or not this game looks like it will be fun... and I'm gonna ignore what you said about Rebecca being insignificant lol Because me and S.D. Perry don't think so.

The graphics look better than I thought and it seems like it will be more fun than Umbrella chronicles... I guess we will just have to wait and see though!

DSC has a RE2 scenario, so one would think that Sherry would make an appearance...yet you make a fantastic point about Barry. We know NOTHING at this point, and if this game follows in Umbrella Chronicles' footsteps(and what would make us think otherwise), then I don't think anything is out of the realm of possibility.

Yeah, wouldn't it suck if they forgot about Chief Irons and Marvin too? lol Oh hell, what if they just take Birkin out as well? Like you said nothing is out of the realm of possibility.

They should show how A. Wesker got the Las Plagas sample from Ada; put in some Leaon-Claire mission in there and you have the final episode for the game

RE Chronicles didn't stop Capcom from making Resident Evil 0 and REmake Wii though.

Ada could still have a RE2 scenario in DSC, since her scenario in UC was really occuring AFTER RE2. This one can depict her adventure during RE2 itself. My guess:

It's already been confirmed that Sherry will appear at the very least in the RE2 scenario.

I feel like Umbrella Chronicles was based around Chris, Jill and Wesker:

RE1 - Chris, Jill and Wesker
RE3 - Jill(and Carlos)
Umbrella's End - Chris, Jill and Wesker

In turn, I feel like Darkside Chronicles could be about Leon, Claire and Ada:

RE2 - Leon, Claire and Ada(although Ada already had her RE2 scenario in UC)
REC:V - Claire, Steve and Chris
RE4 - Leon and Ada
Degeneration - Leon and Claire
New scenario(?) - Any combination of the three.


Again, it's all speculation, but I feel this is logical.
