RE Chronicles didn't stop Capcom from making Resident Evil 0 and REmake Wii though.

Ada could still have a RE2 scenario in DSC, since her scenario in UC was really occuring AFTER RE2. This one can depict her adventure during RE2 itself. My guess:

I bet Martin and Kendo don't make it though. Somehow I don't think they'll fit well enough.

Kendo was on one of released screen shots, but he was dead already. Therefore, Kendo at least is in the game, but we still don't know if Leon and Claire will have a chance to talk to him, or at least see him being killed by zombies.

Kendo was in one of the screenshots. It'll be lame if we see his dead body and couldn't interact with him in any form. They removed practically all the side characters in the RE3 scenario for UC (Nicholai, Mikhail, Brad Vickers, Darios Russo) which already disgusted me, so I hope they don't do the same for this.

They should show how A. Wesker got the Las Plagas sample from Ada; put in some Leaon-Claire mission in there and you have the final episode for the game

That would make a lot of sense actually... hmm

I'm still not totally convinced that an RE4 scenario makes sense in this series. The art direction alone is so radically different from UC / RE2 & CV, not to mention the enemies. I think it would feel too out of place in the game.

Another random concern that recently came to mind regarding Darkside Chronicles is the music. I can't really recall any memorable music from Umbrella Chronicles, even though most of it (all of it? can't remember) was new. Part of me would prefer Capcom to reuse the old scores from RE2 and CVX, but at the same time, the generic play of an on-rail shooter doesn't suit the original music from the games, so it probably would be better if they came up with new tracks. I really can't make up my mind.

One track from UC I REALLY liked was the one from Beginnings. I dunno about anything else, but that one is freaking awesome IMO.

I would die of glee if i got newer versions of the Alexia Themes. *_____*

Actually, no, one thing I do recall about the UC score is that it reminded me a lot of the live-action films which.... is never a good thing. Honestly, I just wasn't impressed with UC's soundtrack. Blergh.

Both of Alexia's themes are made of win and absolute amazingness. The more that I think about it, I think the logical route for DSC's soundtrack would be remixes and variations of the old soundtracks. Maybe. Possibly. I just really don't want another shoddy soundtrack like UC. Of course, that's just my opinion, but you know.

Beginnings

Checking my playlist, I also have one of the RE0 Tracks on it, which is good, though not as good as Beginnings. Other than these two tracks though, nothing else really stuck out as good.

The RE2 scenario with Leon and Claire is the only thing that I'm looking forward to with this game. While I'm sure we will get a Code Veronica scenario, I'm happy with Code Veronica the way it is. It doesn't need its own scenario.

And I am hoping we will get more RE side games until they are ready to make RE6 4-8 years from now.

Personally I still think that RE4 won't be in this game just because it's too "new" to re-visit yet. Also, while I am excited about the RE2 scenario, I'm more excited about a possible "new" scenario that will be at the end of DC just like the Umbrella HQ at the end of UC. Perhaps this will show Leon/Claire rescue Sherry and end all the speculation. Eithier way, I'm digging it just because you get to see Marvin and Robert and hopefully Chief Irons OH MY!

Storyline blasphemies and retcons aside, am I the only one worried about the atrocious FPS that the game was running in the first trailer? It's an on rails shooter, for God's sake! Also, I personally think the characters should be redesigned: it just doesn't feel right using the Degeneration art style for this.

I'm really hoping they will at least put a mini game in there about what really happened to Rebecca after she got out of the mansion. She's the only character they didn't cover after the mansion incident. At least they showed Barry in the helicopter in RE3 right?

If everyone completely forgets about Rebecca I will be pretty pissed off as well as alot of RE fans.

oh i hope your right, ive been waiting for an explaination about what happened to Rebecca for ages. Rebecca is so awesome she deserves at least one little side mission or bonus mission. and so does Barry.

Degeneration art style? Wehere. Neither Claire nor Leon look like their counterparts in Degeneration. Leon looks more like RE4 Leon.
