Mainly because it has a good enough story and Spoiler:

Jill is still alive and Zombie (Majini?) bashing.

The gameplay is good fun although still not quite what I want in an RE game, it's just fun regardless and is something to let my brain turn off to in between cut scenes.

One more thing I'd like to add, I'm kind of glad the game had no puzzles because having no puzzles is better than having half-arsed puzzles... *cough*RE4*cough*

Good game, but not good enough for me to want to play through it more than once.
Mercenaries was really fun to play with my friends for hours, but it's gotten pretty old.
Doesn't have the same replay value as RE4 IMO, and the storyline is really bad.

Above average, but only by a little bit.

Exactly man, once I beat the game under 5 hours for the rocket launcher I've pretty much abandoned it other than some random nights were I might online co-op with a friend, but those are few and far between.

I really wanted to give it an 8 because I was a little disapointed with the story, but the replay value is amazing, Im already at 90+ hours. I've done everything but still find myself playing it again and again. So I had to give it a 9.
