  • Would you like to Play RE5 by night?

I mean it could be good if Capcom releases a new patch were they allow you to play RE5 by night.. but i think it won't ever happen..since they have to re do the code and lighting...but it kind of sucks that there was a level that takes place by night and they skipped that...

Yea it was just sort of gray not really black night. That would be pretty interesting to see the town at night lit by shoddy electricity, flickering lights. I don't think it'll look that great by torches like the village in re4 though

I think every piece of horror art should have some sort of Lynchian flickering lights. It worked for Dead Space.

I think it would have been awesome. I mean, originally they had the whole area where you fight Ndesu playable at night. I'm not sure what went wrong but I thought it was a good idea. Personally I was hoping to come across more fields and wildlife since you are in Africa. Would have been pretty cool getting stalked by a plagas lion, or some hunters through a grassy plain

i wouldn't mind but idk if i like it, i mean they wanted the game to be bright cause its different and i can honestly say it worked out pretty damn good.

the nedsu fight was at night if im not mistaken

Isn't one of the color filters black and white. I don't remember but I guess that would be the closes thing to darkness in the game.

oh man that would be so awesome.

i really wish RE5 had some atmospheric moments like that, such wasted oportunites to do a great scene like that.

Just imagining the shanty town in darkness creeps me out. The game would have been scary if it was dark, no doubt. But that wasn't what Capcom was going for. Oh well.
