    yes but you have to run the program in compadibility mode for windows 95. so just open the contents of the disc and find the resident evil program and right click the file and go to preferences. find the option to run compadibility and check it and choose windows 95. this can also be done to the setup files

      No, it will run on any Windows available, but 90% of the time, you'll get really bad results. The game will run too fast (eg. the protagonist moves like they're on steriods), and you'll face a constant crash in the dining room scene when playing with Jill which can only be resolved through a method which makes you lose two full Beretta clips.

      Not a good choice. Get the PS1/Saturn/whatever version if possible.

          MarkGrass has apparently created a patch or something that you can apply to the Japanese version of BH1 for PC that will fix all the issues. It doesn't work for the english version though, and I don't know if or when a patch will be made. I'm not sure if Mark is working on it atm or if he plans to.

            I have the ps1/sega saturn and the GC remake i play all ports of re games they never get boring to me thats why i wanted to try the pc port but i guess ill just stick to re2 playing the freakishly hard diffculty
