No, it will run on any Windows available, but 90% of the time, you'll get really bad results. The game will run too fast (eg. the protagonist moves like they're on steriods), and you'll face a constant crash in the dining room scene when playing with Jill which can only be resolved through a method which makes you lose two full Beretta clips.
Not a good choice. Get the PS1/Saturn/whatever version if possible.

MarkGrass has apparently created a patch or something that you can apply to the Japanese version of BH1 for PC that will fix all the issues. It doesn't work for the english version though, and I don't know if or when a patch will be made. I'm not sure if Mark is working on it atm or if he plans to.sigpic
