Um. I'm fairly certain she eventually broke up with the dude. We have heard nothing else about this said boyfriend of hers. And if he's still with her, what kind of boyfriend is this guy? He leaves her to die in a doomed city, and even after that we still don't hear shit about him.

If that guy was her boyfriend, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it's OVER. Maybe he found her diary and read how she was obsessed with Chris - or maybe he found it suspicious that Jill was always leaving late at night to go to Chris' house on business.

You made that up and there has no been confirmation from capcom whatsoever that they have been separated as a couple . If you thing Jill a fellow female soldier going on assigments with Chris means separation from her boyfriend , then I must admit your brain in pretty twisted in perception of the world and you are not down to earth .

Firstly its a well known fact that there male and female workers do work together in assigments , missions , handling issues and thus travel together on a mission , etc when they are in a team . Now if you think they should fall in love just because they have worked together for 10 years , well what can i say Its pretty much an insult to all workers and their own spouses/boyfriends/girlfiends and the world would be full of cheaters, if your logic were to hold true And you say Jill is very respectful and responsible (i e person who would never go on dates with anyone) , well with a post like this

Whereabouts of that guy ??? , May not be in Raccoon city at that time. Not everyone always lives together you know . Hell of a lot of people do have their lovers/spouses living or working in another place, sure that doesnt mean that they dont love them or dont visit them when they get time . And in addition to that , Jill has maintained a fair distance from both Chris and Carlos and has never shown any real signs of love for either of them or get down and dirty with them . The only thing shown she has shown is gratitude whenever rescued or pulled out of her virus-misery by them .And as Rosetta Mist and hellwarrior rightfully pointed out saving someone or working with someone are very poor grounds for romance as there are numerous instances of rescues in RE and in other series as well .

However , I can see the reason why you wont agree and its seems quite understandable because it appears you have been reading too much fan fiction materials like this as you mentioned here and apparently shown too much faith in them

If you're into fanfiction btw, this fic is a great read... really captures Chris' personality well and gives a realistic view on the Chris/Jill relationship ('tis also very very well written).

just the sort of things that give you wet dreams , twists the brain and you naturally tend to ignore the evidence or percieve it differently and make your own imaginations on things .

With that being said,I must say I am with hellwarrior and darkmoon on this one, Jill and Chris might be co-workers for a long time and do respect each other a lot, but are nowhere near as close to become an item couple .Period.

Ok....I think people just need to stop using Jill's mystery boyfriend as an argument. The man most likely lived in Raccoon, which means more than likely he's dead. If he meant so much to Jill, wouldn't she have mentioned by now that he escaped the city if that was indeed the case? I'm not saying this in support of any pairing with Jill. But you would think that at her desk in RE3 she would see the photo and say something about him being safe. If you have one romantic end screen of chris and Jill RE1 , to counter that you have 2 romantic dating end screens of carlos,whether anyone of those 3 are canon or not its a different story and we need confirmation from capcom for that

the fact is that all we have to go on is what we know...the games, Jill's diary, the decade she spent with Chris, and the epilogue files(NOT including the game-clear screen with Carlos and Jill on a boat). All that evidence does is point to nothing but a partnership with Chris. There's nothing about their sex lives or personal relationships. Why? Because it doesn't matter. It's not important to the games' storyline. If there IS one relationship(friendship/partnership just so we're clear, just so you don't think I'm a "pervert," you idiot) that is important to the storyline, however, it would have to be Jill and Chris. That's what RE5 was all about. An entire game driven by Chris and Jill's relationship. If you can't see that, then I don't know what to tell you

1. Relationships as Co-workers partners working and cooperating together - yes , barry came out of his way to save jill in re3 ,now does that mean he loves Jill all of a sudden , no they're partners thats why


2 Relationship as personal lives - nothing and not enough evidence to draw conclusions - the only thing we know is Jill had a boyfriend and as per Jill's diary ,Chris-Jill never lived together .
