thats what i thought, i read somewhere that if you look closely at one of the newspapers in Apacolypse it says that Jill accidently killed Leon and thats what gave her the suspension from S.T.A.R.S in the movies.

I hope the 4th movie is a reboot though, this time not by the same director and producer, and someone who actually cares about the franchise.

Still Paul W.S. Anderson. Thank goodness... and last I checked, he plays the games, or at least has played them. More than I can say for Chris Kramer. But let's stay on topic here.

Well, he only directed the first one. So I imagine he'll just be the writer, as with Apocalypse and Extinction.

As for Jensen Ackles, I love him on Supernatural. But he better make a non-douche Leon. Although to be fair, Dean is kind of a douche on Supernatural. But that's why we love him. XD

yeah i know, i wonder how they will explain that. or maybe it's set during or before the first RE movie.

I wouldn't be surprise if they ignore that and went ahead to make a new Leon anyway, just like they totally ignored the 2nd movie's cliffhanger ending and drop 2 main characters from the 2nd movie without any expanation at all.

To say the truth I wouldn't mind that, as long as they make Leon looks good lol

I never saw the third movie. Sadly, I’m one of those silly fans that cherishes Resident Evil too much to see it messed with, and I have a hard time separating the films as just entertainment without fidgeting everywhere and screaming how things are supposed to be… which is pathetic, I know. But, in any case, the solution to all that is just not watching the stupid things, which is exactly why I never saw the third one and have absolutely no desire to see it.

However... If Ada were to appear in the fourth film, there is potential for SOME of my interest, but only if they get a perfect actress and stick to having Ada wearing ridiculous red outfits that don’t fit the situation. I won’t accept Ada any other way. :3 Of course, judging from what I minimally saw of the third movie’s Claire—who looked NOTHING like game!Claire and didn’t even have a PONYTAIL—I doubt I’ll be interested.

Second movie needed Sherry. I still do not understand why Anderson took the time to create a little girl SO SIMILAR to Sherry but decided not to actually make her Sherry? That was silly to me.

Another movie just makes me want to vomit. Since my friend can get me free movie tickets, I might go see it. I think they would be better off not adding characters from the game and just stick with Alice and whoever they want to make up.

if i remember correctly she went on her own cause she thought she can handle the situation her self. and went somewhere which i cant remember atm.

Yah Jill and Angela's aftermaths are explained in the novel, but that's the problem. The aftermaths are not explained in the movie.

That's like explaining Wesker's resurrection through a paragraph written on the cover on a RE figurine.

I would say watch it since you've watched the first two...why not watch the
rest?

...but, I think Extinction is the worst movie of them all. The settings, Alice's
psychic powers, the horrible looking tyrant esque - Nemesis (you can almost
see the zipper on that thing...), and overall: the story.

I really liked how in the first movie they kept everything simple and mysterious,
and also the mutating licker looked like an awesome boss to end the movie while
they try to escape the lab.
