This. Rebecca's place is in a lab or hospital, not in the field. Sure she was the original child prodigy, but having her age into some sort of badass would completely ruin her character. She also really doesn't seem to have any driving force. Yes, she survived the mansion incident...but what then? She isn't mentioned again after that, and its sad. But I just don't see her becoming some big action hero.

Yeah. Pretty much says it all. This was the point I was trying to make, only put way more eloquently.

HELLZ YEAH. She's the young-ist one in STARS, so she should be the lead of RE6. While everyone's in wheelchairs and diapers she could still be shooting zombies and look sexy doing it.

And story line would be easy.

1. Rebecca goes to help study a virus in some s#!thole country
2. people are infected...
3. oh no, an outbreak OMG
4. ?????????
5. Profit

Well she could be in Outbreak 3 (if they make it) as a alternate character.

I suppose I wouldn't mind Rebecca showing up again, but definitely not as a main character. I think Rebecca does have an interesting personality, and I like how she interacted with Billy quite a bit. I also like that she had a temper. That was cute.

However, most of what made her interesting was her youth, and her constant determination to prove she could handle situations herself while everyone around her was coddling her for being so "young" and "fragile." All those attributes would be gone if she were to return, because she'd be older, and it just wouldn't mirror the Rebecca I prefer. I'm not really keen on the concept of Rebecca becoming some extreme super-agent. No thx, capcom.

Maybe Becky is better off appearing in a CG movie, where she doesn't necessarily have to be directly involved in action.

Rebecca isn't even an important character at all. Yeah, she's okay, but I cannot see any reason to bring her back. In fact, I'd put her on the same level as Barry Burton and the Outbreak characters. Cult favourites (whom some want to see again), but in the long run of things, not going to happen (I mean, why would they be brought back again?)

I think it's about time we get to control a baddie as the main role Nicolai anybody?
playing the game from a baddies perspective we kind of got it in Umbrella Chronicles but I want a full game.

I'm not knocking Rebecca, but an impartial thread/poll would welcome all views. Perhaps we should put up a poll that says, "Should Rebecca Chambers die a slow and painful death?" with the options of "Yes" and "I would sell a kidney to see that." It would be equally as impartial and fair as yours.

i want a Rebecca Chambers game so damned much, i want to find out what she did after and during Raccoon City. Rebecca is one of my favorite characters. and yes she has a great ass. i really love how she carries herself when she walks as well.

i like to think Rebecca and Jill teamed up in Raccoon City then got seperated and RE3 played out what Jill did after they got seperated, and Rebecca escaped somehow as well off screen just before the missile hit the city.

Capcom forced Rebecca to be a hero in RE0 and they failed. RE0 didn't live up to my expectations and the forced "badass" image they wanted to give Rebecca didn't work either. Now I wonder... why would you want to have Rebecca in another game? Didn't you see what they did to Jill in RE5? Capcom won't give any other RE female character her chance to be badass again... now Leon is the iconic image of the series, though Jill and Wesker are the most popular characters in the series (no doubt), but that's an old story.

I would really like to have a last game with all the S.T.A.R.S members that survived the incident in the mansion, the last battle with Wesker... that how it should have ended... but they still want to "steal" money to the poor fanatics... for me it was good enough.

But in regards to Jill, I doubt Becky be under mind control if she was the main character so I doubt it'll be the same as with RE5 Jill.

Like it or not, Rebecca might not appear again. She wasn't even mentioned in the epilogues in RE3... it's been a long time since we heard about her. And yes, Mikami said they wanted to show a stronger Rebecca in RE0, how would you explain all fighting she faced with all those creatures? Rebecca is not a hero... and never will. Capcom tried but they failed. Also, like ChrisRedfield said above, there's no logical reason of having her in another game... what would they say? She got some training and got basass?

The only capacitiy i see Rebecca reapearing as is maybe in a document or a flashback
or maybe as a mother with kids or something along those lines.

Why not? Look at Leon In RE4. I think this poll is silly considering there's actually no option in it at all, and considering most people have actually posted she shouldn't be the main in RE6.
