I know, that was a little dumb but hey? He had to die sometime later, right?

You should definately go back and play the original games. RE 2 is my personal favorite but 3 is also a great game.

The end of Raccoon is pretty much the end of Nemesis, a fitting memorial.
yeah i agree, that's why RE3's ending is my favorite, and Nemesis and Jill together is why i like RE3 th best as well.

        same here.

RE3 is my favorite game of all time. because of Nemesis.

RE3 came out in 1999 and was Nemesis's first and only canon appearance. Pyramid head's first appearance was in 2001 with Silent Hill 2. so for once Konami actually copied from capcom.

wait, i don't get it, you've only ever played RE4 yet before you claimed to be Jill's biggest fan?

I think Nemesis is a pretty cool guy. eh impales the face and doesnt afraid of anything.

I think he's a fantastic enemy. If you think about it, RE3 is a very tense game. The scares in it aren't the slow sense of dread you get in RE1, nor the cheap-loud-noise scares which seem to predominate RE2 (though RE2 very much had the sense of dread). I found RE3 more tense then even RE4, and easily more tense then RE5.

Nemesis is the main reason for this. Even though he's heavily scripted - the first few times you play through he seems to always suprise you. Whether he decides to accost you in the trash collection alley with a rocket launcher, or kill some zombies outside the substation before coming after Jill. He could always keep me guessing.

That was until I figured out how these appearances were scripted... Unfortunately, the technology at the time worked well, but still wasn't perfect. I'd love to see the idea of a constant stalking enemy implemented in a game, but less script based, and truly based on chance.

And as for tension in RE3... I'm gonna push the Mad Jackal wheelbarrow again. I know I keep going on about how good it is. But that game still gets my blood pumping, without fail. Every time.
(Oh, and Rocket Launcher Nemesis in the hose alley is the most tense part of the mini game. He makes it . I love him).

I hear you man, it's still my favorite merc mode. It probably helps that it's the only mercenary mode where you actually play as mercenaries lol. I did enjoy the battle mode from RE2 but the I thought the one from CV was meh, other than being able to play as wesker. There's just something about running around Raccoon, rescuing survivors, and getting your reward from "Brian Irons" sitting in the shadows lol

its a little dumb since hes only after S.T.A.R.S not the UBCS

                Question 17
                Why did Nemesis kill Nicholai?
                Answer 17
Nemesis saw that Jill and Nicholai spoke several times and he realized Nicholai is helping Jill.

Question: How did Nicholai ever "help" Jill? He's mostly typing on his computer and of course, trying to killer her lol.

I personally think he killed him just because Nicholai was in his way just like he attacked Mikhail, Carlos, zombies, and pretty much anything else that was in Jill's general location. Maybe even because Nicholai was attempting to kill Jill, and he did not want Nicholai to interfere with his mission objective. Also, I wonder what Nemesis would have done once he killed Jill, leave Raccoon city to find other S.T.A.R.S. members? It would be pretty hard for a B.O.W. to get all the way to Europe lol. Maybe he would somehow self-destruct, or perhaps Umbrella knew that the government's sterilization plan would take care of his disposal for them anyways.

                    .
Maybe he could just turn himself off? Enter in a standby mode or something like that... or/and he can have some place to go after that, to wait for extraction...
                    .
Anyway, I was playing RE3 right now and I decided to beat the whole game with the infinite M4A1 in auto mode, it's cool to see Jill holding the gun... but I died to Nemesis in our first encounter... damn, I must have killed him hundreads of time and I still dying... I guess he is the most amazing boss I have ever faced.

Dude I started a new game on hard the other day, tried to fight him with the weapons you mentioned above, needless to say, I got PWNED. It was like the first time I'd played 3 in like 4 years so it was quite sad. What can I say, I'm an old school mansion kinda guy

lol yea, it's pretty hard. I wouldn't even play the game on hard if it didn't unlock the lever action shotgun and deagle lol.

I do that... you can image the result... but I'm improving myself... however it's so cool watching Jill using the Samurai Edge and dodging Nemesis and being throw 5 meters away that I don't care to die and try again.

i always enjoy watching jill die ecspecially by hunter gammas

but the deaths in RE2 are the best, they can scream even if there heads are ripped/eaten off.

                                its priceless
