  • Verdugo?

I was just wondering, was the verdugo once a human or was it one of the experiments like the regenerator in 4? since really you never learn anything at all about them.

^ Good question. They don't ever really come out and say, but there's no telling where they came from. Just like the novistadors, their origins are a mystery.

I'm pretty sure that they were, at one point, human. We've seen just how heavily a Plaga can mutate its host, so it's possible.

On an odd side-note, every time I read "Verdugo", I think "Verdura" ("Vegetable"). Damn you Spanish class!

If Saddler wanted loyal bodyguards, he should have kept the Verdugo for himself instead of giving them to Salazar. But then he'd have no need for Krauser. Oh well, not a giant loss.
