Petition against Resident Evil 4 Afterlife

I am down to see another Resident Evil Movie, don't care if its great or stupid, they havent done a super horrible job on the movies, B-Grade movies IMO and I like B-Movies....EVIL DEAD FTMFW!

I only ever saw the second RE movie and only to see/hear Nemesis on screen. I knew it would be nothing like the games I loved, so I didn't see any more films or ask anything else (like plot) of the one I did see.

Personally, I liked the first movie a lot and even though it wasn't exactly like the games I appreciate what it did.

Maybe its just me, but I think if Anderson would have actually directed the second and third films, they would have been about as good as the first.

(I'm pretty sure everything below this is correct, but I might be wrong lol)

Like Paul's first script idea for the second movie, where he had three separate stories that went on. Jill, Claire, Alice. They would each show what was going on with them at different places during the Raccoon City incident. As awesome as it could have been if the movie was about 2-2:30 hours, I guess it just wouldn't work.

Well then he changed it down to just Jill and Alice, with still separate stories. Again I guess it had to be changed, and they just combined all the characters into meeting.

Now it came down to the final script where things always change from what they might be in the script. Like the supposed ending that Paul originally wanted for the movie, but Sony said it would be too expensive.

It was supposed to end at a train station and Alice would be fighting Nemesis and Jill would end up getting the final blow with a rocket launcher. Then they would escape by helicopter, maybe a Barry cameo(does anyone remember this news awhile ago or am I going crazy?)

I've seen 2.5 of them but ditto. The only one that really made me go "oooh I really want to see this" was the Nemesis one. Favorite game, favorite tyrant, one of my favorite characters (Carlos) and I was all over that.

As much as I despise everything having to do with the Resident Evil movies, I can't get myself to really hate Milla Jovovich. She's cute and charming to me, and I think she has a really great voice as a singer. Before she became a high-profile celebrity, her early work as a singer was interesting. One of her CDs, The Divine Comedy, has some really beautiful songs on it. I'm still quite fond of that CD, even years later.

I wonder what would've become of Milla if she stuck to a career as a musician. Perhaps Anderson's creation of a Mary Sue insert-character would've been avoided. Oh, how the world would be different!!

Still... even if I like Milla as a person, it doesn't mean I'm going to watch her in the Resident Evil films, though. I like my sanity, thank you very much.

As for the petition: From what I know of petitions, online ones never work. Plain and simple it's people physically signing their names that works. Not just typing their names in.

This maybe a bit off subject but speaking of movies and the late Mr. Bronson. I recently heard that there will be a remake of the Deathwish movie staring Stallon as Bronson's part.
