Severing the spinal column would have the same effect, dead zombie.

Yes it is, it's a sequel and a prequel in one.
MGS3 is a prequel and still has the number 3 in it.
RE3 deserves a number more than CVX does IMO

This fact has made me feel that Zombie-Brad was just meant to be an easter egg in RE 2, but the developers for 3 felt they could go somewhere with it.
Basically, I feel that when Nemesis attacked Brad, he just flat-out died. His spine had been severed, and (to quote the game) "his face [had] been decimated", so there's no chance he's getting up. Zombie Brad is just a little bonus, kinda like zombie Wesker in the Saturn port of RE 1.

Another reason why brad took so many bullets to kill is because he was wearing his bullet-proof jacket.

The only continuity error Nemesis made was the window in the RPD, that's all. And i think it was completely worth it because in my opinion RE3 is the best RE game ever made, in fat it's my favorite game of all time.
And anyways, RE3 explains how Brad happens to be there at the RPD in RE2.
Because Nemesis killed him there. That way there is one less loose ending in the RE world, in fact RE3 tied up a lot of loose endings.
RE3 is nothing more than an after thought using up scraped ideas for RE2, Nemesis is just an over grown Mr. X.Last edited by kevstah2004; 06-02-2009, 05:44 AM.If he had a brain, he'd be dangerous.

Nemesis was 10 times better than Mr.X, and RE3 was not an afterthought at all, how on earth is it an afterthought?
And no way does it use scrapped idea's from RE2, it improves on RE2, you can manually walk up stairs in RE3, Mercs mode started with RE3, RE3 was only RE game to have randomly generated enemies meaning every play through was different. it was an improvement in every way and didn't let a plot get in the way to ruin the gameplay. RE3 no doubt had the best gameplay of the series, and the most iconic and hardest boss in the series. Nemesis.
I really don't get how people can not like RE3, it's flawless in every way, id even go as far to say it's one of the only games in history that i would consider perfect.

see th9is confuses me becuase if 3 is taking place in and around 2 than why are all the passages blocked? i mean i looked at the notes as i happen to be playing three again and you guys are right but it just seemed strange. also i wish that the dodge system used in 3 was in all the rest including r,e remake.

Surely it'd make more sense to keep them up and if they did take them down why didn't they kill brad at the same time he'd be trapped in the same area whilst they where trying to take them down. Capcom screwed up plan and simple. Like Enrico said the only reason there their is to stop you playing RE2 in RE3 they could of easily just done a collision bounding instead so you can't walk any further.Last edited by kevstah2004; 06-05-2009, 09:51 PM.If he had a brain, he'd be dangerous.

I mean Outbreak is canon and there is a level in the RPD in that too with a whole bunch of survivors.
