Adas Report, best story element from RE4, specialy Report 5: Albert Wesker - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_LPO9smjys.
We will get a game explaining what hapened between them, of that I am sure.
I'll start with this simple and stupid explanation: it was 2005 and RE fans recieved RE4 with open hearts, some enjoyed it, some loved it and some hated it (I was the fan type who loved the game); but no matter how much you liked the game, they had done the worst thing for a RE fan: they killed Umbrella just with a few words, no major explanation, onlly a presentation (wich I know many watched over and over again trying to find some sort of hiden information...
). But then we get a new game wich explaines that: it was 2007 and RE fans recieved RE: UC with open hands and not very high expectations (good thing to do). I can't complaine about this game at all cause I haven't played it (NEVER), and if I had I would probablly have liked it. And with this game came an explanation for the fall of Umbrella, regardless if RE fans consider it a good or bad explanation.
So then we have Adas Report 5 in wich she presents to us a major panorama of what's next in store for the RE series:
- Ada working for an "Organization" and betraying Wesker (giving him a fake Las Plagas sample) (0:10).
- Wesker having major plans (0:24).
- Wesker being in contact with "S" (1:06).
- And finally the begining of a war (1:29).
It is 2009 and we RE fans recieved RE5 with open hearts (or that is what hapened in my case). The game gives us this:

Or maybe, they just decided not to use at all this story elements. I just have one thing to tell you all: as many know, we have a new game coming: RE: DSC, and there are many incognits on the Ada-Wesker side for us to uncover... I hate when I build up my hopes from "nothing"
