I've simply never had a fondness for cowboy boots. I just think they look out of character on Claire. *Shrug* Nothing really wrong with the outfit itself, I just wouldn’t have imagined it on Claire.

You know, I LOVED her Degeneration outfit (I think Claire looked perfect in that film. I’m finding her whole character design in DC to be somewhat off…) the way her sweater matched the colour of her shoes was neat, and the rest of the outfit’s was just subtle white and light brown, so the rose colour stood out. Not just the outfit but the entire character design would have been worth keeping… I honestly don’t know what it is about how she looks in DC that bothers me. It’s not just the clothes.

And Jill's battle suit, sure, it's a drooling fanboy's dream, but with her blonde hair and the colouring, she looked like she was channelling Nina Williams. Blech. Nothing wrong with Nina, I just find her outfits disturbing. Plus, I’m so used to seeing Jill in BLUE! Just like Stars1356 said about Chris always being in green, I associate Jill with blue, so seeing her in purple was honestly a bit of a mind-f*ck. They might be close on the colour spectrum, but in my mind, it looked weird.

Jill's Sexy-cop outfit is my favorite costume. Its a nice reminder of "What if?"

Always loved girls in sexy policewoman uniforms. You know, unbuttoned form-fitting shirt, miniskirt, and high heels. Quite hot if you ask me.

No they don't. If you open that special locker in RE2, Claire gets a new costume and a Colt revolver designed for 'quick drawing'. Claire fires it like a cowboy would.

Yeah i agree, Claire's Degeneration Outfit was the best, it fitted her perfectly, i love it.

And i think with RE5 they were trying to change Jill's look, by giving her blonde hair instead of brunette and purple clothes instead of Blue. And yeah it does look kinda weird, i like Jill's classic look better.

I don't agree it doesn't fit her. She DOES know how to fire that Colt, so she must be interested in western stuff, at least a little. Which wouldn't exactly stop her from putting a pair of cowboy boots on. Other than those boots, her look is almost the same anyway.

And with Jill in RE5...they didn't TRY to change her look, they simply changed it. Blatantly.

Considering it's just an alternate costume/extra, it doesn't really mean anything. Imagine, if you will, if you've played Haunting Ground, if any of Fiona's alternate costumes actually meant anything official.

But bear in mind Claire's RE2 alternative costume is very true to character. Seriously, what's wrong with her 'new' look? I don't see anything shocking.

pretty much so, just some minor differences like some tears on the knees of her jeans

I must say that Claire's CV Outfit looks a whole lot better in DSC than it did in CVX. Her outfit in CVX just looks weird, i never really was comfortable with it, it looked out of place somehow. But it looks a lot more natural now which is better.

No it's not. It's a forum, you can talk about anything. Besides sometimes it's the little things that make the big difference for some people.

I have no problem with the new outfit but there's nothing wrong with discussing whether you like it or not.

I don't find anything wrong with the updated CVX outfit, I agree the original looked really odd.

But jeez, can't a girl dislike cowboy boots and denim shorts? I never said there was anything wrong with the outfit, aside from the fact that I PERSONALLY don't like cowboy boots or denim shorts! Jeez, guys.

I fully agree with missvalentine in this matter. There is no need to say that our personal opinions on the matter are silly because it's just a matter of preference.

Personally, I love Claire's look in DSC. It simply shows the finer levels of detail that could not be achieved with the renders or technology back in the 1990s, we're seeing the exact same outfit with more detail and a few very minor - but positive - changes. I like Leon and Claire in DSC, both of them look superb if I'm honest, the voice acting is decent too. I didn't like Carlos' look in UC, but that's only because his face looked so strange.

I like Claire's updated look of her CV/X outfit. I personally think in CV/X her pants were WAY to high up on her waist. I know there isn't that much of a difference but her just pulling her pants down a little made it better. I think she looks a little different all togeher in the CV/X portion but different for the better
