i hope it isnt like outbreak...mayb im the only person here who didnt like it. i bought outbreak 2 and played for a few minutes and couldnt go on...not sure why

dont own a psp, but i did buy one psp game because it was on sale (i buy games before buying the system sometimes just to wait for the better model or price cut) and now this new stupid psp 2 doesnt even take umds

I think they should do this make a completely different side story with the one 1.5 story except it would be like this. same pre rendered backgrounds beef up graphics, same gameplay mechanics and different characters to make it match and blend in with the RE world.

Maybe they can use other character's like Bruce from dead aim.
or bring back other characters that never made it to the final cut.

A new title would be welcome, perhaps explaining the escape of Barry and Rebecca, but I highly doubt they'll bother.

I'm more in line to think it'll be a new Outbreak title with the 'lost' scenario's we never got the first time around.

If anyone wants to see how Resident Evil on PSP should work, play Silent Hill: Origins.

Tank controls, great atmosphere, great ambiance. It was when I played this game that I realized a classic RE was possible on PSP.

Of course, Silent Hill: Origins is a complete failure of a game and shouldn't be how Resident Evil PSP turns out.

Notice how I didn't mention any of this in my previous post. You think I want Resident Evil Portable to feature microwaves as melee weapons? I was simply stating that a "classic" survival horror Resident Evil game is not only possible but plausible, as I was seeing potential unfold in front of my eyes.


For example:

Fixed camera angles
Typewriters and ink ribbons
Storage chests

Classic controls...
Square + left stick/d-pad to run
Circle to open up inventory
R to aim, X to fire
Square + down on stick/d-pad to turn around quickly

If it was an re2 remake yes another game based on them unless it's degeneration (A better one) then no they have been in the spotlight too much already something new would be nice.
