    Nope, I hate D.C Douglas with a passion, worst Wesker VA ever. He doesn't sound right for Wesker at all. And is part of the reason i dislike RE5 Wesker so much, i cannot stand his voice, God id rather listen to Steve and Ashley whining for 5 hours than listen to Douglas do his bad Wesker impression.

    He only did one line which i thought sounded like Wesker. Which was the one where he mentions six billion cries in pain or something.

    All the other acting in RE5 was great though.
    A lot of folks here do consider Douglas to be good, myself included. He managed to portray calm Wesker well and on the verge of a breakdown Wesker awesomely.

    I do occasionally wonder how many of the folks on the forum like him because he and Ken Lally showed up here. That was entertaining.

      Yeah.. I really would say you're in the minority. I didn't think he was all that bad in UC, he was okay, but he really came into his own in RE5 and I think he did a brilliant job, delivered the lines extremely well.

        I thought he was fine in UC but not a big fan of his Wesker in RE5. Okay at best.

          In UC, Douglas was trying too hard to imitate Waugh's pseudo-accent...and to me, it came out sounding really lame.

            You think so? I know everyone but me loves him. I hate him though, and I'm outnumbered.

            He just didn't suit the role for me, i much prefer Waugh. Just something about Douglas's voice bothered me so much but i can't pick what it is.

            BTW, I heard Ken Lally is doing some Voice over Work in Modern Warfare 2.

              I found this a minute ago, pretty funny. It's interesting to see him do the voice lol. I miss Waugh, but I'm glad Douglas was able to do his own take on Wesker in RE5 and the results were superb.

                ^I love watching voice actors actually preforming the voices. It's absolutely amazing. Thanks for posting that video. Waugh was a great Wesker, but Douglas definitely won me over in RE5. I will always appreciate Waugh's performance in the previous games, though.

                  ^ Your welcome

                  Yea I really liked Waugh, and even though he had some faults here and there I will always think of him as the Wesker. Douglas however did impress me because I never thought I'd like anyone else as much as Waugh but he did an excellent job in RE5. I can't believe that D.C. Douglas is already catching up to Waugh's record of three RE games.

                  (for those who aren't aware)
                  Waugh = CV, RE1(remake), RE4
                  Douglas = UC, RE5, DSC

                  It's kind of crazy that suddenly the voice actors are continously reprising their roles, that was something very uncommon for Resident Evil games with the exception of Claire and Ada lol. I think it's better that way (unless of course you hate the Va's that are returning) since fans can feel a little closer to the characters.

                    Richard Waugh did RE0 if I'm not mistaken, it was Peter Jessop in REmake. I enjoyed Jessop the most, pretty much because I have a huge problem with Wesker's reborn accent.

                      You are correct. I also agree with you on Wesker as I remember playing CV years ago and not liking the accent. I guess I got use to Waugh as he became the voice that character and maybe thats why may people liked his version of Wesker so much.

                        ^ oops that's right, I always get those two mixed up. I wonder why he skipped the remake?

                          I think they wanted to use a voice actor that had a different tone in his voice and not one that was as evil as Waugh. Also Rebecca's VA was different between 0 and Remake so since the games were being developed separately, they may have wanted to use certain VA for each game.

                          Edit I forgot Enrico too. All three characters had different VA.
