My Resident evil Outbreak Stoyline

Hi it's me again I just want someone's opinion on my resident evil movie idea I have been writing about my family says it's good but I would love resi fans opions my plot is shown below:

It's set in a new city (Unknown name) an ex umbrella scientist lives with his only 18yr son and his wife, his son is sent by the government to join the army forces in iraq, when he arrives he is only meant to be a supplier for the higher rank soldiers but a corrupt general slings him and two other rookies into the battlefield they are all murdered the general is found out and convicted he faces a trial in front of the high court in this new city the umbrella scientist and his wife take the news quite bad leading to his wife not talking to him for months and eventually not eating, and the scientist spends all his days in the basement as he attempts to recreate the T/G Viruses, while in the process of doing this he loses his mind completely and murders his wife, the scientists experiment is a success, his plans are to infect the general before his trial so that world can bare witness to what umbrella and him have created and that his show the world he is no push over, the thing is in this court is where the main the female character of story is she lives with her boyfriend who warned her not to go as many wanted this general dead but the girl goes any this is basically then a story where the boyfriend tries to get to the court in time to save her.

John is a security guard at a bank in town he is wanted to be police men who tries to rescue who ever he can throughout the story.

Andrea is a bit like all female leads she is very caring and scared.

"Leon's voice dialogue cameo" I also thought of a really cool cameo where the characters come across a radio and it's a special report from a survivor of this kind of event and Leon gives his take on how to survive and also people can call in and ask questions Leon trying to help as much as he can

The Mad scientist

He is locked away in the basement, a part where he is playing moonlight sonata as the camera zooms out and shows at least 12 dead bodies decaying and only one stading in a cage growling in hunger, blood all over the mad scientists white professors coat.

he was living a normal life after he lost his job at umbrella but losing his son lead him and his wife to insainity.

My aim

is to make a live action resident evil film that fans can relate to and not some film with a woman with super powers when as a resident evil ever have super powers I just would love to make a film that would erase the films that could of ruined the franchise for me but thankfully it didn't.

As for the story itself...well, the story itself is somewhat cliche. There was a Clive Cussler story with an almost identical plot (only the guy blamed all the Arabs instead) and that's not a good thing. Admittedly, it didn't have zombies...

There's not really anywhere for this to go. A basement does not really make a good end level (see below) and, while someone looking for a loved one can be a good story there will need to be a lot more support for it that what you have. You have a start, although I'd change it, and you have a potential end (does he save the girl or not?) but there's nothing to fill in the middle. Also, a plot hole. How is a guy whose locked in his basement gonna infect a general?

The second is: what kinda basement does this guy have? I mean, sure, the B Level Labs in RE2 could be considered a basement I suppose, but unless this guy's house is built on top of an Umbrella research facility then basement lab will not have nearly enough equipment to replicate or make a virus. He'd need access to a major facility and staff to do the job...even Birkin and Alexia needed those, and they're apparently super human level smart.

Finally, your main lady herself...well, other than being a homage to her potential voice actor making her very typical does her no favours. Resident Evil is a game with a lot of strong female characters and making your female lead a rescue quest isn't a great plan. If it were me I'd change it so she's a playable character trying to get back to her boy friend. Having two playable characters gives you two vantage points for the story to be seen from, extends gameplay and adds additional options (such as the A and B scenarios of RE2.)

You have some good ideas and some not so good ones, you should keep trying to improve this, and you need some stuff to fill in the middle.

And maybe a part of the movie devoted to seeing the female lead trying to get back to the male lead, like Darkmoon said.
