I still remember my first time playing it with a friend. We freaked the hell OUT when we got to that alleyway where Mr. X is slowly coming toward you. And the end where if you go the certain path the like .. FOURTEEN EFFING TYRANTS break out of the tubes as you're running by. Oh lawdy I screamed like a girl.

You know I always secretly hoping for a reunion of Leon and Ark - to some extent it would of been fuck awesome if Mike from Resident Evil 4 was actually Ark.

Strictly speaking though it's the exact same controls as the rest of the series, just seen in a new perspective, it's still tank controls, you still need R1 to aim.etc.

Its really hard to say no to a Survivor remake when RE0 has established that it is canon to the story.

Not sure about you guys but I'll prefer it to be a remake as a chapter for Darkside Chronicles rather than the full blown traditional RE. The story will have to be altered a little, because the part where the main character loses his memory and thought he's Vincent, the person whom he is investigating, is really stupid.

Maybe have Vincent Goldman play some of the side roles in the RE2 or Code: Veronica scenario like Sergie in UC to flesh out his backstory too? O_o

I never noticed this before, but either the developers of Silent Hill 2 actually bit a couple of things from RE: Survivor, or they're just striking coincidences. For one thing, Ark Thompson resembles James Sunderland in appearance slightly and definitely in clothing, plus both characters go through most of their respective storylines forgetting something integral to their identities. The more obvious one however is that there's a nightclub (one where you fight the T-103 two or three times) called HEAVEN'S NIGHT. That took me by surprise.

I was watching a Let's Play on youtube and the commentator noticed the similarity between Ark and James. They're more or less generic looking people but I think if the Heaven's Night thing is any indication, there's something to be said about the protagonists' similarities.

Hmm...i'd doubt that they would do a remake of it, considering Capcom have already done quite a few remakes already.
That and the fact it's not as popular as the other Resi games.

After playing through the game again (in less than an hour, hilariously), I noticed that if Ark is killed by a T-103, it will proceed to stomp on his face.

I found that badass.
