Also, about the dialogue in Claire's dream, I find it interesting that her essential protector calls her "sis." I would think this is a mistranslation, but perhaps Steve represents Chris in this case. Or am I getting too psychoanalytical for poor Resident Evil?

XD I guess they're just used to giant, T-mutated enemies for such a lacklustre reaction.

I would have to say that Steve calling Claire "Sis" goes along with what was written on the Darkside Chronicles staff blog but seeing as RE:GS2-CV is all a nightmare of Claire's it could be a possibility of her dream/nightmare merging Steve and Chris together.

I'm now a little tired of playing it, as I've been capturing these and now I have to re-capture them in a higher quality. ((Haha, well... at least I'm well prepared for the Rockfort scenario for RE: DC when it comes out)).

At the very least there's now some footage from the game online.

That's my thoughts on it exactly.

The lack of shock makes it impossible to play RE:GS2-C:V without laughing at something, only to have something like... Cerberus jumping through some windows suddenly force you to focus again.

Anyway, an update to this - I've now optimized everything and am recapturing it all (will try and edit out the health bars and other crap on the cutscenes, increase the size ratio to 16:9 and enhance the graphics. I might see if I can hit it with a fake Bloom look, on the third recording).
Next post I make will have all of the RE:GS2-C:V cutscenes updated for download as well for the promised character (Rodrigo will be up first!), enemy gameplay footage (also including the bonus Nemesis battle).

I'm also now recording RE: Survivor too at the moment, now that after a lot of tweaking is now running and recording fairly smoothly and will try and do the same optimization on it all too.

It's so interesting that people are interested in this. I keep forgetting it never got a release outside of JPN and PAL areas and those who did experience have long since forgotten it.

Still, the footage brings back memories. I remember the "VS. ROACH" mode too. =P

That's exactly why I've been capturing the footage, it would be quite a waste for it to be forgotten about and it's only right that everyone can have a look at the game even though it wasn't released in their country and/or region.

I honestly hate the Roach Mode, it bugs me every time.
