No there are emulators you can run through PS3 Yellow Dog linux. I run a lot of my personal back-ups through the PS3 that way. I believe the emulator was called "Surreal 64 PS3 Beta". It has been discontinued and I can't seem to find it. There are of N64 eus for Linux though.

Also you can run other emulator's by using exploits within the PS3 OS itself. One is a save exploit that runs a homebrew code stored in a save file. It works when you insert a trigger disc. Works very nicely though.

Enough talk of this though, since I'm not sure how Dot feels about it.

I didn't think you could access the RSX whilst in Linux.
Surreal 64 is for the original XBOX.

The Leon in the sunglasses outfit is oddly awesome.

Yeah, he actually for once looks.. cool.

I like the purple Claire too, and the other Leon, those alternate outfits are a lot better than the Outfits in the regular RE2.

Also weren't some of the Ex files in this put into RE3?

I didn't realize there were more alternative costumes in the N64 version. I have only played it once so I never tried or thought there was much difference besides the EX Files.

I believe there only a few you can look at as the game has to different sets it generates randomly.

I've only played the N64 version. What were the PSX costumes? (I think there was a Ryu Leon in there...)

                      1. Black Leather Jacket with Skull on the back and Jeans.
                      2. Army costume purple shirt + green trousers and cap.

Claire has the "Let me live" jacket with flames running up each arm.

i dont really like it how leon (in the leather outfit) holds his pistol sideways ive never understood it, it makes no sense what so ever.

I think it's either to make him look cooler or has something to do with recoil since if you hold it sideways it recoils past your body but if hold it in the normal position it recoils past your head.

Yes they are in the same places but in some play threws they are not there. Kinda like the special files in Outbreak, they may or may not be there depending on what set the game generates.
